"Did I do something wrong?" Manda asked. Brian laughed. "No, you didn't do a thing wrong. You've done everything right... Come..." He lead her out of the water, and they sat on the edge of the beach, right where the little waves made it to. He took Manda's hands in his, and looked her deep into his eyes. "Manda, I've been thinging about us a lot lately, and I would really like to tell you this." Manda held onto his hands a little tighter, "Go ahead, tell me." "Well, you know, when I was talking to you, and I said how I felt it was fate between us?" Manda nodded. "Well, I also believe that, well, in this world, there is someone for everyone. That there is THE person for everyone. I never thought I would ever find THIS person, until a few days ago, when I met you." Manda smiled at him. "I feel the same way too. From the second I opend my eyes, and saw your face, right there, in front of mine, I knew..." Manda replied. Brian kissed her hands. "I also wanted to tell you this. Over the past few days, I've fallen in love. You're evrything I think of now. I've never felt so strongly about one person before." He lifted Manda's chin, and stared deep into her eyes. "I love you." Manda's eyes started to water, and she hugged Brian. She moved her lips to his ear, and whisperd softly to him. "Brian, I love you too." She cried tears of happiness, and then she kissed him. "Thank you..." She said. "For what?" He asked back. "For everything. Just thank you." Brian understood. The two of them sat on the beach, in each others arms, letting the waves lightly crash apon them.
Amanda and Nick were sitting on the couch, Amanda clinging to him, not wanting to let go. Amanda shuddered a few times, but Nick just held onto her tighter, and she felt safe again. An hour passed, and neither of them said a word.
"Nick, I'm scared." Amanda finally spoke up. "Don't be. I'm here now. There's nothing to worry about. I'm not going to let him hurt you." Amanda still looked worried. "But what about when you're not here. He said things weren't over. What if he comes back at night? What if he tries to hurt Manda too? What if-" Nick put his finger up to her lips. "Shh... He's gone. I promise I won't leave you alone if you don't want me to. I can call my mom, she'll understand." Amanda looked up at Nick, her eyes full of tears. She then nuzzled up to Nick. "Stay. I need you here. Please don't go." "I won't, I wont..."
