~Forbidden Love~

Love forbidden and oh so hidden
the passion, the truth, the lies
the feelings of one heart
the sight of ones eyes.

For in my eyes the sight I see
is where you and I could be;
if only with one quick glimpse,
You know exactly what I mean.

The little smiles you sneak to give
are my hope, makes me want to live
with the love of mine forbidden
that must bo on always hidden.

Its your voice I long to hear
whether its far away or oh so near
for in my heart this love I’ll carry
day by day, year after year.

I’ve known your touch of sweet embrace
I long for the sigtht of your sweet face
if only a moment just passing by
I know my feelings will never die.

For on the day our lips did meet
and I swore this secret to keep
for where we’d been and what we’d done
could never be told to anyone.

I told you then as i tell you now
that to my grave i’ll keep our vow
for all the years and days I had dreamed
about that minute, that very love.

For your kiss was my heart’s delight
and that same kiss your breath became light
when you said your knees were getting weak
that, my dear, was when my love peaked.

My hope, my prayer is to find you’re also smitten
with the same love from my heart i’ve written
of this love oh so hidden
maybe by fate won’t always be forbidden.
