Handmade Art Greeting Cards by Design On Hand, Inc. are made entirely by hand, one piece at a time. Environmentally Friendly, the paper is sourced not from trees but only from recycled tropical plant fibers such as salago grass and abaca. The fibers are pulped, and each set is formed by hand, as evidenced by the four naturally deckled edges--a feature unique to handmade paper. Decorative components are also molded from naturally recycled paper pulp. Designs are first created by Philippine artists and carved with exacting detail. Pulp is then individually pressed into the molds. Finally, each raw component is painstakingly handpainted. Because of this total "On-Hand" design and construction, each of our cards have a personality uniquely its own. RIPPED-LIKE EDGES as if old----UNSUAL CARDS. All cards are blank for personalization and individually packaged in plastic film pouch.
