My CARR line starts Sept. 1875 in Pope County, Arkanas
with my great-grandfather John Leander CARR.

John was born Sept. 1875 in Independence, Pope Co, AR.,
and he died between 1942-1947 in Osceola, Mississippi
County, AR. He was buried in The Garden Point Cemetery
in Etowah also in Osceola. Leander has no headstone on 
his grave. John Leander Carr always went by the name of Leander.
Leander married Belle Zora Ballinger and they had at 
least 11 children, only 8 lived to adulthood, and 1 son Wiley 
died about the age of 10.
Belle was born in Sept.1875 in Searcy County, AR., and 
she died Nov. 18, 1928 in Osceola, Mississippi Co, AR.
Bell's daughter Bertha gave me her mother's birth and death dates.

1. Nancy Catherine 1895-1987, married Wright Wolf.
2. Wiley 1889-1909
3. Mary Lou Della 1905-1996, married Constatine "Connie" McVay.
4. William Henry 1907- 1967, married Bonnie Deeds.
5. Luna Loutresssa 1909-1978, married Earnest Lindsey.
6. Charles 1911-1979, married Vera Foster.
7. Margaret 1912, married Virgis Tillman.
8. Bertha 1915-2003, married Milton Pinston.
9. Thurman 1919, married Sylvia.

After Belle died Leander married a 2nd time to a another 
widower, a lady by the name of Sarah "Sally" Cockrell
circa 1931-1933, Sally was born circa 1870
died in between the months of January through February 1949. 
Sally is buried in Garden Point Cemetery in Osceola, she 
too has no headstone. The church that held services for 
Leander and for Sally Carr is no longer standing.
