Combo Mix Opening Fest

Ampang Point opened a new Combo Mix store and
Lyme was invited to play in the opening event.
This time it all happened by surprise, since  
the members had just come back from a short 
holiday. The organiser of the event was 
setting up the stage in the shopping center's
ground floor when he exchanged a few words 
with Victor and Boy, who just happened to be
walking in the area at the time. Quickly it
was set that Lyme would play that same after-
noon. After calling Javier and Moez by phone,
the two showed up (greeting each other since
they hadnt seen each other for weeks) and 
after a while everything was ready for the 
performance. With the instruments all borrowed
from Combo Mix, Lyme started up with their
overly-rehearsed Foo cover, Big Me, which 
attracted the attention of passerbies, who 
stood on the stairs and other floors to watch
for a while. Afterwards, other Foo Fighters'
covers came up followed by Pearl Jam's Alive,
which obtained a good response from the public.
Lyme closed the set with Rage's Bullet in the
Head, unexpected by the organiser, but the
results were nevertheless greatly rewarding, 
being it an incredible ovation from the crowd, 
who clapped and shouted after the song's 
closing. The owner of Combo Mix approached the
band, impressed by the performance and asking
for contact information in order to allow the
band to play again, if possible. 
Lyme had a good night sleep that night.
