Timun Drive's Gig

Once again, Timun Drive, the ampang-pub-turned-gig-joint
was featuring an alternative show! And as usual, Timun's
vibes are always super friendly and enjoyable..
The night started early with Stone Angelina and
Fait Accompli taking over the stage..well, more like
taking over the floor because there is no stage..
the sound was great (as usual for Timun Drive too!)
being mixed most of the time by Pablo (Prana)..
Your Mom, a new project band with Pablo (Bass Prana),
Joe (Guitar Nervewreck), Loomi (this funny sarawakian
with short dreads) and Harun (on the mic), rocked the
night with a fresh new sound, very experimental and
fun! Also, the debut of Fool's Guild was going on,
a band that played great rock music for old people,
well, sort of :) It was all great. Prana and
Love me Butch played as well (prana closed the night).
Lyme's set came up second last, I think. It was fun,
considering Boy and I were recovering from being ill,
we played four or five songs (sorry, its been some time
since the gig and I have forgotten some details).
We did our old music to get the dust away from them,
and it turned out to be great to play Uneasy and
Size does Matter again! We thought we wouldnt have been
able to play a long set (since we were still sick)
but with the excitement of the whole thing we felt
with enough energies to play Keropok! It was so cool!
People were dancing and jumping right in front of us,
and the vibe was just great. Syarul of Love me Butch
came to aid me in the microphone at the ending of
Keropok, in the middle of all the moshing and
sweat! Everyone left the place with a smile on their
face, right after everything was over after Prana
performed their great closing set. It was a nice
personal feeling to play in that gig, its like
we were all friends inside and it was just so
comfortable to dance, play the fool or just do
whatever you wanted to do. Cool..!
