Color's Warpig Gig

Well, it was a quiet Sunday at Damansara Utama,
and some of the people (both friends and from
bands) we met were all ill with the latest
outbreak of flu in KL (us included!). Anyways,
at 3 the sound check was still on, and bands
were getting ready to perform. 18SGG couldn't
make it that afternoon, leaving Senseless,
Roana, Lyme and Sputum in the play list.
The amount of people in the place was enough
to fill the seats (ha!), so we opened under
our own request, since Moez and I were not in
good health. Nevertheless, it all started fine.
The song list was improvised since we couldnt
be asked to write it beforehand, and the first
song for the afternoon was Uneasy, with a slight,
spur of the moment change of lyrics into "I am
sick, is that the problem?" "is that the
problem?" ...and it went on. The song was
performed with no problems, and it got a warm
round of applause from the friends and other
people in the place. Soon after, Size does matter
came into our minds and it too was performed with
no problems. Then it was Something's turn. We took
time playing the songs, delaying and looping just
for the fun of it, and also to help me reboot in the
middle of Hunger to Rule, since Lymeus Delta (the pc)
was also sick and was crashing all the time.
(yeah yeah). Anyways, it was fun. Hunger to Rule's
ending made us sweat out all of our illness, literally.
Afterwards, Roana came in with their cool beach
punk melodies, followed by the excellent set by
Senseless (hard it was! wow!) and closing the
gig was Sputum, displaying their unbeatable
display of tightness, skills and incredible
stage presence, and they made everyone's ticket
worth every cent! It was a cool afternoon, if you
had nothing better to do. END.
