the landscape
with
a dimming green

gives
the trees an
orange lace
as the sun
leaves the scene

a web of mist
is sparsely splashed
to skim
above the 
ground

water ripples
with his strokes
giving
eve
a flowing gown

a darken sky
behind the ridge
he adds 
with
color gray

a solo soul
he paints
at last
to bid
goodbye to day
