**Skoal is telling how to save old version of NS while downloading new version just to make sure evreything works ok.**

<Skoal> make a folder called Netscape2then copy all the contence of your current netscape folder into it

<Skoal> then do the update like normal

<Skoal> test it out if everything is ok then you can delete the temp folder

<Kinkell> ok so then if doesn't work I just change path and come back and scream for help?

<z-eagel-lost> all I do is open notepad and open the file I want

<oz1> Just go to file and open and find the file name

<oz1> I can't find notepad on explorer to make a shortcut out of it eagel.

<oz1> When you open notepad you go to the file menu and do a save as and then that is the file you look for the next time.

<oz1> I have notepad files for Netscape tips, Ms tips, URLs I want to look at, etc.

<oz1> It is a good way to save all those tips from email tips.
