<PeachesBG> I want to know if one has several servers, can Communicator be accessed thru any o them without downloading a copy from each of them?

<kittycat1> Since I am on a Mac--much of the lesson does not apply to me--but I just bumble along learnig beside everyone instead of with everyone

<AM> I just upgraded from 4.04 to 4.05  no problems

<oz1> I never had Gold so I don't know. I would imagine it does have and more.

<PeachesBG> Netscape 3.0 automatically comes up and then I have to click on Communicator to bring that up.

<kittycat1> Yes--Gold is version 3.04--and Communicator is Version 4.04

<kittycat1> I have Gold--Communicator--and Explorer all on my Launcher--I just load whichever one I want--just not two at the same time

<oz1> I see the new NS doesn't have the voice mail in it. You have to buy it now.

<AM> It was all in 4.05 the same as in 4.04

<Zonie> have NS3 and 4 on diffrent partitions

<eagel> I dont like Gold We have that at the church I work at Hardly any options or I havent found it as nice to use as 4.40

<Zonie> 4.04 has Java bug, NS says up to 4.05

it--NC is VERY different--and kinda scarey

<oz1> Tell your secretary you heard there were bad bugs in Gold and you have to upgrade right away.

<PeachesBG> How does one move their bookmarks so that they are the same on each browser?

<oz1> Go to explorer and copy them to the other browser.

<oz1> This may take a while.

<PeachesBG> Where do you find them under Explorer?

<oz1> Go to programs in C and then to Netscape.

<oz1> Keep opening folders till you find bookmarks.

<PeachesBG> Actually there are some directions to be found thru Netscape.com

<oz1> Double click on that and it will move to the right side of the screen.

<oz1> Anyway. after that find the folder on the left side you want the bookmarks in and highlight the bookmarks and right click on them and drag to the other folder.

<oz1> You will get a  popup asking whether to copy or move. Pick copy.

<oz1> You have to hold the right mouse button down to drag.

<PJ> I have not been able to find bookmakes or address book ....

<jbr> oz1 - where did you read about voice mail and new Communicator?

<oz1> I found the place today where you have to buy it.

<oz1> I have 4.04 at work and it does not have conference on it and some friends is that way too.
