started a Netscape Mailing List, does any one know what happened, on/too 
the mailing list?

<oz1> I had to unsubscribe and couldn't get subscribed again.

<AlaskaMax> Some of us, have posted message's on it, and no reply's, etc.

<oz1> Last time it was only for 4 weeks but we talked Richard into going 
longer.

<AlaskaMax> I will, continue to learn from Richard, any time he has a 
class,  I am impressed with his way of teaching.

<PJ> Bev just got a reply for the mail list  .,.. they said they lost the 
files and you need to sub againn

<oz1> We will have to ask Richard if this class can use it.

<AlaskaMax> Yes, I've been playing with the Majordomo all afternoon, 
trying to get info out of them.  No luck!

<oz1> It was for the whole class to share info.

<oz1> Got pretty busy for awhile.

<AlaskaMax> I have learned a lot, and we have covered several 
subjects..on the NML

<oz1> We learned HTML mail.

<AlaskaMax> Not only e-mail, but anything conected with Communicator, 
4.04 -03, and now .05  Patti2

<oz1> Most of it was after class was over.

<AlaskaMax> Quite a few of us taking the mIRC course, had to down 
load/delete  Then upload a new mIRC

<Zonie> people are always trying to slip micky's to others on IRC, know 
the person you except from, and then be cautious

<PJ> yes and the ones sending it did not know it was being sent  ... 
their files were corrupted

out I wasn't!

it, them, and the file's got through

<oz1> It wasn't called a virus it was something else.

<PJ> I had a monkey vir.  on a floppy and McAfee got it before it opened

<PJ> had to clean all my floppys

program!

<Patti2> I installed Norton but later uninstalled it because of problems

<Zonie> anti virus for downloaded files, browser security for active 
stuff on web pages, that you don't get to download

<AlaskaMax> Yes I know what you mean, with Norton, I got rid of their 
virus program, and re-installed McAfee

<Patti2> What do you recommend for anti-virus?

<Zonie> McAfee is picked as #1, I have it but can't use it with win98

<Zonie> I love win98, is a lot more stable than 95, and I only got the 
Beta3 version

<AlaskaMax> The beta 98, has a lot of neat feature's, and I'm empressed

<Zonie> only problem I had was with my logitech 3 button cordless mouse, 
and fixed that the first week, just had to run a driver installer

etc.  I use a Kensington Expert Mouse
