<oz1> Make a folder called sounds in mirc.

<oz1> You open the other channel on the same server and then click on the 5th icon from the right at the top of the page.

<oz1> Do you see the White squares with blue tops on them? There are two.

<Jayne> sorry from the right would be the  tile windows

<oz1> Then both windows will be on the same screen.

<Jayne> yes i have that so now i can just go to another chanel

<Jayne> okay that was what i was wondering if it had to be on the same server.

<oz1> If you want different servers you can open mIRC again. It is a little tricky.

<Jayne> okay ,, now when u use webmaster and it is down and u use say greennet, will they connect to one another if u were on webmaster and i was on greennet

<oz1> If you are on webmaster and I am on greennet we can still be in the same room. Yes.

<oz1> I am not sure how to put it.

<Jayne> yes that is what i meant.. i wasn't sure if it worked that way or not.

<oz1> There is different networks I guess.

<oz1> Like Chat Net and Sprynet and Buffnet

<Jayne> okay i seen the other nigth when i got on just as class was closing some had z before their name  what does that mean.

<oz1> When the channel is moderated the z mean you would not be able to write to the channel.

<oz1> When it is changed to a v for voice then you can.

<oz1> The channel moderator does the changing.

<Jayne> never heard of them.  it was just the other night when i couldn't get on webmaster and then i had to change to grrenet i wasn't sure if i was in the right class or not at first.

<marty7> I haven't updated to 4.05 should I?

<oz1> I don't have pro but did get 4.05. no problems.

<twoshoes> Can voice be used with Communicator or do I need Pro?

<candyman1> the diff. between .04 and .05 must be minor

<oz1> I have voice but I think it is only offered in pro now.

<candyman1> voice can be used with .04

<oz1> I think it was just a java fix.

<oz1> The standard download does not have conference in it.

<oz1> You need to do a custom setup when you download to get conference.

<oz1> I guess they give you an option of what you want to download.

<oz1> Some don't want messenger or collabra, etc.

<oz1> I think the right click is something we all forget about. It has so many options for 
different things.

<Patti2> I just learned to right click on a link & open in a new window.

<oz1> Right click is sometimes quicker.

<Patti2> It makes using the board much easier. Don't have to go back

<oz1> Type   /sound and then the name of the sound plus .wav or .mid

<oz1> That is what a picture is made with in mIRC patti

<oz1> It is in color too.
