ON 27th Spetmber 1998 M.E.L.T. played a benefit gig at the FUN club in Usingen along with CREME 21 and PUPPENLINK.
The following is a letter I received from Frederic Hauschild from the band explaining about it.....
The Benefit thing is really a great one:
It is for a little 3 year old girl called Samira who has the extremly rare Morbus Canavan disease.
Once she had the possibility to do a special therapy with dolphins and although she already got blind at that moment it helped her a lot.
Her only wish is to be able to do this again.
Local newspapers here had written about her and now they try to raise the money to make that happen for her (as you can imagine this Dolphin Aid program is very expensive) So we had the idea to do an benefit concert with 2 other bands for her and we are supported by newspapers and radio stations over here.
