If an angel is someone who is filled with love,
it's a gift that they constantly share,
If an angel is someone who looks out for others
and gives them a nudge here or there,
If an angel is someone who touches your life
With a heart that's both joyful and wise
Then even though you don't have halo or wings
You're an angel in disguise.
Angels in heaven perform at their best
While observing us in our daily quest
Sacred and divine though they truly be
They stand as Guardians over you and me
From heavens hall there is one for all
We each have an angel on personal call
Angels are always within our reach
They are here to care, heal and teach
So if life becomes too much to bear
Remember your angel is always there!
Little Angels
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love
For no heartache compares with the death of a small child
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged of his fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.

My Angel
My angel walks with me on the road of life,
With her spirit all around protecting me from strife,
Her light shines my way as I walk alone,
With a prayer and a song she'll lead me home.
Wings out-stretched like a bird in the wind,
A warrior on her watch protecting a friend.
I fear no evil with her glory all around,
She's there to lift me up if I ever fall down.
That voice you hear in the back of your mind,
It's your angel waiting for you to find.
An angel on my shoulder
Smiled up at me today
I needed a friend, and the angel said
He would never go away.
At times in my life, I have felt so alone
I could not keep my tears from falling
But now I know I am guided by love
When I hear my angel calling.
In all those moments
When I felt pain and sorrow
And I thought no one could hear
My angel gave me courage and strength
He was not gone, he was near.
Yes, we all have times in our lives
When holding on is hard to do
But you are never alone with an angel by your side
He is there to see you through.
So when your world keeps on turning
And many things do not seem to make sense
Just remember, your angel is there by your side
Close your eyes and feel his presence.
As a young man, Norton was an exceptional golfer. At the age
of 26, however, he decided to become a priest, and joined a
rather peculiar order. He took the usual vows of poverty,
chastity, but his order also required that he quit golf and
never play again. This was particularly difficult for Norton,
but he agreed and was finally ordained a priest.
One Sunday morning, the Reverend Father Norton woke up and
realizing it was an exceptionally beautiful and sunny early
spring day, decided he just had to play golf.
So... he told the Associate Pastor that he was feeling sick
and convinced him to say Mass for him that day. As soon as
the Associate Pastor left the room, Father Norton headed out
of town to a golf course about forty miles away. This way he
knew he wouldn't accidentally meet anyone he knew from
his parish.
Setting up on the first tee, he was alone. After all, it was
Sunday morning and everyone else was in church! At about this
time, Saint Peter leaned over to the Lord while looking down
from the heavens and exclaimed, "You're not going to let him
get away with this, are you?"
The Lord sighed, and said, "No, I guess not."
Just then Father Norton hit the ball and it shot straight
towards the pin, dropping just short of it, rolled up and
fell into the hole. It WAS A 420-YARD HOLE IN ONE!
St. Peter was astonished. He looked at the Lord and asked,
"Why did you let him do that?" The Lord smiled and replied,
"Who is he going to tell?"
