Damn, there's MORE Falsone Hate-Mail !!

OK, now more than ever, the mail has piled into the page. Keep it up people, I love reading all this stuff from you, both positive and negative. As always, I ask people to try and keep away from what some as derogatory and possibly racial slang such as "wop" "greaseball", and the such ( and do NOT condone such use, though I do think a term like "greaseball" may be used as a non-racial slang, since it’s more or less enterered the mass culture. My apologies to all who wrote me in January, as I waited 2 to 3 weeks before replying to most letter, if at all. I live in Montreal , and we had a HUGE Ice Storm that knocked off the electricity throughout most of the province. My family had to endure 14 days without power or hear in the depths of winter. Such hell!! On the bright side, I missed a Homicide episode that was mostly Falsone, so there is a silver lining to every cloud.

Thanks also go out to all those, that came to this page, even though there hasn’t been any updates for what seems like forever ( 6 weeks at my count )—and who kept after me with—so Rob, when is it, so Rob, when is it ?? Lost track of time…ooooops!!! From now on, I’ll try and update things every week or two.

On with the show! Rob Pincourt, Quebec Feb.26,1998

From: Dave C (chanr@sd28.bc.ca) Subject: The Less Falsone, the Better.

Strangely enough, I had little criticism for last week's episode (Jan.2) because it was finally a Bayliss story that was utterly brilliant, and even Kellerman's subplot was well done. But as usual, my only complaint is about Falsone, namely his never-ending bitchfest about his ex-wife and kid. All I could think of while enduring Falsone's upteenth Rocky imitation in both of his scenes with Janine was that had Daniel Baldwin stayed with the show back in '95, those exact scenes would have involved Beau Felton and his ex-wife Beth. And they would have worked much, MUCH better, not only because Felton was a more believable character than Falsone, but because Baldwin was a better ACTOR than Jon Seda. As it was, it was just another unwanted dose of heavy-handedness that kept an otherwise good episode from being truly perfect (i.e. "Subway"). As for my current opinions towards the Homicide's other newer, fake non-characters, they are fairly indifferent compared to Mr. Slick. Gharty and Ballard seem like anonymous, unwanted strangers treading on sacred ground that Felton and Howard once inhabited; Cox is even snarkier and less relevant than ever (If I was Bayliss, I would have dumped HER first); and only Kellerman has vastly improved, largely because he's easier to take than Falsone. That's all for now. Death to the greasy-haired one.

Just wanted you to know that not everyone on AOL likes Paul Falsone-in fact most of the people I know hate the creep. Shame on NBC for selling out Homicide and forcing this guy down our throats. Meldrick has become a self righteous jerk-Hello,did you forget that you were the one beating up Mahoney in the first place? And Mikey is being wasted as the fall guy. Lets not even get into the woeful misuse of Frank Pembleton. Where's Mary? How did the Subway guy affect how Frank feels about bringing yet another child into this world? Instead of going out with a bang, Frank is being let go with a whimper.

From: Luvtino2 ( Luvtino2@aol.com ) Subject: I Hate Falsone Page

During a recent insomniac episode, I stumbled upon the many (MANY) words of hate flung at Homicide's latest angst-ridden cop, Paul Falsone. I admit, although I like the character, I did have to chuckle at some of the commentary. However, the depth of feeling expressed was a little on the scary side! CHILL OUT FOLKS!

I was also disturbed to read that some people's comments bordered on the racist- using terms like "greaseball" and "Falsone/calzone." Maybe some people don't realize it, but using a term like"Greaseball" calls to mind "greaser"- a nasty slur against hispanics and Italians. I know you did not write these particular comments. I just thought I would add my two cents worth that folks should tone down the attacks on the man's appearance. And since when is greasy hair a character flaw? Whew!

Now, to the real point! You've got to admit that Falsone is no worse than that all-time brooder Kellerman. He is in a perpetual state of whining! He always looks as if he's about to cry! And why are people defending Kellerman? He's a dirty cop! He murdered Mahoney in cold blood- cops aren't supposed to be judge jury and executioner! Face it, he's a rotten cop- he's got a badge, a gun and a bad attitude- a lethal combination! I personally look foward to watching him twist in the wind ! (Not literally, of course!)

Besides, fear not, one character won't kill the show. A man by the name of (gulp) Nash Bridges will! Thanks for hearing me out. I'd love to hear from you. Peace!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like I’ve said before, I understand ( and sometimes agree ) with your comment about the slang sometimes used on the page. I do NOT use it myself I should point out, and assume ( maybe naively I may add ) that OTHERS are not using it that way. As I’ve said before, a lot of that slang has entered the popular culture through the media, and lost it’s ethnicity along the way. For example, I live in Montreal, where the Italian and Latino communities are relatively small compared to most cities - and I still hear the term used ( of course, in Montreal, we unfortunately tend to break our prejudices along language barriers - such as english and french ).
As for the Kellerman comment, you’re right - Kellerman is a lousy cop and a whiner as well. Thing is, everyone on the show knows that, as compared to Falsone, who seemingly is seen as one of the guys ( as compared to his initial potrayal last season, where the other cops disliked him - which has seemingly been forgotten in the quest for a pretty face and ratings ). First off, I've got no problem with Jon Seda; hell, I *like* Jon Seda. I think he's a pretty good actor . . . . I just think he' s been miscast. Horribly, terribly miscast.
Second, I do have a problem with Paul Falsone. I get the feeling the writers desperately want H:LOTS viewers to love Paulie. I don't have a problem with Falsone most days . . . . he's even had some scenes I enjoyed . . . . but there seems to be this desperation in some of the other scenes that seems to say "See? See? We're cool, we're cool; we can be just as cool as "Nash Bridges" or "Blue!"
Third, I take issue with the people who've written in to your page saying how great Seda is, and how he's saved the show. Out of curiosity, folks, have you seen the first four seasons of Homicide? Even the rather silly fifth? Or is the current season, a/k/a "The Paul Falsone Hour," all you've watched?
Alas, Jon. Too bad such a talented actor is playing such a brain-dead role
Rob, Friday night(12/19) I was going through homicide withdrawal so I decided to do a yahoo search to find other homicide related pages. I had previously been only on the nbc site (mostly the waterfront bbs). included in the yahoo search results was Homicide: Links on the Sites https://members.tripod.com/~DaveLocke/. from this link page I went to several sites, including yours. I think I might have heard of this site before from someone on the bbs, but I never got around to going. I found the hate mail rather enjoyable and decided to write you one myself, I also thought that the Seda lovers putting a campaign together against your site was unnecessary. I mean how much harm could one site do to their beloved Seda?
I also have friends on AOL who hate Falsone too. they just don’t waste their time trying to organize an effort to try to change people’s opinions. So all AOL people aren’t bad.
I saw "Primal Fear" when it was on HBO. All I can saw is THAT was Seda!!! It was on HBO again Sat, Jan 3.(i missed the scene with Seda).
Gharty and Ballard are starting to grow on me. I liked that scene in the beginning of the christmas ep where they were talking in the car going to the crime scene of the guy killed with the laundry detergent. Maybe, just maybe if they had gradually worked Seda in I would have liked him a little more.
I not to clear on some stuff that happened in the last ep of last season because I missed it when it was on NBC and they didn’t rerun it. I did watch it on lifetime but they always cut stuff out.
I highly doubt that they’ll rotate them again. A friend pointed out to me that Stivers seems to be rotating when no one else is. In Blood Ties part 1 she was working robbery, then 3 eps later she was in sex crimes or something?? Can you say plot device! Why else would she be the only other cop they ever work with (other than those L&O guys).
From: Falsone’s Mother (NCMC@MCI.Com) Subject: Falsone: Will You Please Die?
I hate to be one that jumps on the Bandwagon, but here it goes:
I loathe Falsone. He is my Kryptonite. I cannot believe that they have taken a great show (still is as long as Seda doesn't appear in any scenes) and have made the changes which will cause its demise: Howard is nowhere to be seen, and I am praying that they come to their senses and sign Melissa Leo for next season (if there is a next season!); Ballard is so damn irritating, trying to be a hard ass but actually one PMS-induced moment away from becoming a basket case; Bayliss is walking on the "wild-side" (come on, must all shows now have a gay character to broaden hetero-america's minds?); this is supposed to be Braugher's/Pembleton's last season; Kellerman is left spinning with the Luther Mahoney/Georgia Brown crisis hanging over his head; we have no progress being made into Felton's murder; and now, from the slime of last season arises the Anti-Pembleton-- Falsone!
With the greasiest of hair, the smarmiest of smiles and a bravado writing checks that his scrawny body has no prayer of cashing, I can only imagine that someone was on a serious acid trip when they decided to cast this latino loser as a regular with the Homicide ensemble. My fervent hope is that he has been cast as an undercover IAD maggot, sent in to come up with dirt on Kellerman, and that he will be discovered in the Woman's rest room by Ballard, wearing hose, garters and high heels, and Ballard, being slightly menstrual, will blow his greasy butt away. It's a win-win situation: Ballard is fired, Falsone is dead and the catharsis of the situation returns Bayliss to heterosexuality and causes Kellerman to reexamine his life and change his whiny ways.
I have seen other E-mails stating that they don't hate Seda the actor. Please! There is no way that he is in the same league as Yaphet Koto, Andre Braugher or those that have departed (Leo, Beatty, etc.). He would be over his head on 21 Jump Street! Perhaps he can be picked up on New York Undercover. Just get him off H:LotS!
To Rob:
How are you doing? I haven't got any specific anti-Falsone rants about any recent episodes to send to you right now, cause I figured it'd be better to hold off until I've watched a few more episodes at a time. But if you ever do decide to compile a "Top Ten List of Reasons to Hate Falsone" on your website (as implied on Dave Locke's "Homicide: Links on the Sites"), I have this one personal addition to that list. The Number One reason I hate Paul Falsone is because Kay Howard was axed so that Falsone could take her place. Although some fans (including myself) want to believe that Melissa Leo was exchanged for Callie Thorne because of the producers' (and superficially, the viewers) demand for a younger, prettier, and sexier female player in the show, it's more likely that it's the FEMALE viewing public who tune in and make other cop shows like "NYPD Blue" and "Law & Order" so successful, shows which feature predominantly handsome leading men (Jimmy Smits, Benjamin Bratt). Why else has Jon Seda been receiving so much attention lately? Because of his looks, that's why. And Reed Diamond doesn't count anymore, since he first appeared on H:LOTS when Andre Braugher was still the series' star and has been around for so long that it's too late to re-establish Kellerman as a "new hero" like Falsone. Added to this, Ballard's stories have been consistently minimal or indifferent this season, even for a newcomer, which is probably due to the writers' lack of attention in developing her character (along with Gharty's). Again, it's because the demand for Falsone is greater than the others. But basically, I'm still pissed off at Melissa Leo's absence because I still see the Homicide reruns on Bravo! which remind me of how wonderful she was and what the show is missing without her. Although the show's overall quality definitely plummeted after Daniel Baldwin and Ned Beatty split in '95, for me Leo was the glue that held it all together for those last two seasons (no slur on Braugher and co.), something that can never be replaced. And now that she's gone, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the show get cancelled, if only for it to be put out of the misery that is named Paul Falsone. And yet, some critics are still deluding themselves in believing that Homicide is "better than ever" (to quote a recent issue of People). None of these rag magazines score any credibility points with me, least of all Entertainment Weekly, which once dismissed Beatty and Jon Polito as "deadwood" while ignoring Yaphet Kotto in the same breath (Discrimination against old guys as well, perhaps?). Also, I actually SAW Jon Seda's performance in the pilot of OZ on Showcase and was thoroughly unimpressed because his acting ability was exactly the SAME as it is on Homicide, which means that he sucked. (For an example of another actor who sucks because his acting is always the same shallow bullshit, check out Michael Rapaport in the films "Kiss of Death", "Beautiful Girls", and "Copland" and you'll understand.) I guess I AM ranting on after all. I'm just going to stop right now, and let you decide whether or not you want to post any of this, and if you have any comments to make. Take care now.
Dave C.
From: jjdak@utah-inter.net Subject: Hating Falsone
I know you get a lot of this sort of mail, so I thought I'd join the rest. I have a plan. As it stands Falsone (in a roundabout way) has lost his wife and kid because he's a cop. I suggest that they give him a wonderful girlfriend, he falls madly in love. They can have a love scene, he can show his ass. It will be a tribute to the NYPD Blue character he plays. Then his girlfriend dumps him because she can't stand being involved with a cop. He is all heartbroken. It takes three weeks to do the whole story line. In that time no one mentions Georgia Ray. Then in a move to remind Kellerman of her power and invincibility, she has someone shoot Falsone in the head with a shootgun. No one will ever get caught or punished. This way the irony of it all will appease those of us who desperately need Falsone to die!!!!!
For the first time in my Homicide watching history, I am despising a detective character. Falsone has done nothing but grate the nerves and wonder which writers developed a brain tumor. Has there been a more useless character in TV history?
When Dr. Cox came on board I was surprised to hear of fan's protest and thought she was an interesting character, partly because she acts like a stereotypical male when it comes to relationships. I loved how Russert tricked the sniper into admitting his crime. I respect Kellerman for saving taxpayers' money from having the give Luther a trial.
But Falson was shoved down our throat and he proved to be a vastly dissapointing character, actually a rather idiotic and stupid one and no saving grace in sight. I do hope that Falsone (and Gharty) meet a rather torturous and painful end. Or at least go the Crosettit route.
What is wrong with Homicide? First they bring in people who are way too young.(Kellerman&Cox). Then for an entire season they use Howard in a fetching doughnuts role. Now they have 2 more 20 somethings. At least Gharty isnt some 20 year old punk.(Late Breaking News: Peter Gerety is one of the 50 most beautiful PEOPLE) I am just now starting to tolerate Kellerman, and Ballard. But the fact is Flasone has to go. Hopefully Kellerman will realize his impeding doom, and blast Flasone&Cox. Hopefully the writers will use the rotation scheme, and bring back Howard. As for Falsone here are my top 5 ways for him to be killed off.
5.Gets so macho he tries to take on Gee. Fight lasts 2 seconds and he's carried off crying like a wus 4.Falls down an elevator shaft 3.Killed by Georgia Ray Mahoney. (Good Irony) 2.Shot accidentally by his stupid brat. 1.Walks to close to an open fire and suffers fatal grease burns.
I won't lie and say that I love Falsone - however, I do think that some of the rage being directed his way is a little harsh. I think the fault lies pimarily with the writers for featuring him a little more than necessary. When Beau whined about his kids, we didn't have to listen to him for hours and hours.
Seda would be fine if his character was allowed to have a sense of humor. I think that's the problem with all of the newbies, although I think Ballard and Gharty are fine and fit in quite nicely. Around season 3 the show hit a nice stride where they seemed to really nail some needed humor. I would like to see more of that.
All that to say: take it easy with the greasy-haired kid stuff. Since when did appearance have anything to do with these characters anyway? In an effort to keep an optimal racial balance, H:LotS creators inserted a character they thought would have wide appeal. Hopefully he will grow into his own skin in time.
How's it going? It's now mid-February and I still see that your Hate-Mail section of your "I Hate Falsone" page hasn't been updated with comments relating to last month's Homicide episodes. My only questions about this are 1) Have you received a lot of e-mail responses and are in the process of adding them? 2) Are you pre-occupied with other matters that aren't anyone else's business but your own? or 3) Have the anti-Falsone comments actually diminished because the character has finally receeded into the background with the rest of the cast and is scarcely a threat now (i.e. "Something Sacred"). Let me know as soon as you can. As for the other big news about Homicide - that it has been renewed for next year - I have mixed feelings about it myself. While it is still the best show on TV and is remarkably capable of showing depth and feeling in some episodes ("Subway", "Closet Cases"), the show as a whole doesn't mean half as much to me as it did when it first came out five years ago. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that it is a completely different show now, which (for me) has more to do with the loss of several major characters than anything else (i.e. inferior replacements, weak storylines, pretentious music montages, heavy-handed direction). While NYPD Blue was effectively destroyed by the loss of only ONE leading actor (David Caruso), Homicide deteriorated over the course of three years as it lost Jon Polito, Daniel Baldwin, Ned Beatty, and especially Melissa Leo, while Isabella Hofmann and Max Perlich added little during their tenure and were scarcely missed. But that's just my opinion; I could be wrong. Any comments?
The other stuff he wrote, that is here, I just felt like he needed the attention- and felt bad for him—so put it in anyways J Rob
In a daze while suffering through Homicide withdrawal, I found your site. I hate Falsone to so I decided to write some hate mail which btw I love doing. I don't have enough time to write why I hate Falsone. I just do.
Here's a suggestion for your site. You could have "The Misadventures of the Misfit" showing all the idiotic stuff that he does i.e. showing a kid how to hot wire a car, trying to get his partner in trouble, etc. You could also have reviews about him. Of course, only the bad ones.
I have created two words since the outbreak of Falsone fever. There's Falsonia. An excessive amount of Falsone or the phenomena surrounding Falsone. A Falsonaholic is someone who is a fan of Falsone. You can go to the bbs at the official NBC site and to the sub DEATH OF HOMICIDE to check out the origins of these words.
For the record I know people who use AOL and they all aren't insane.
I heard that Jon Seda was in Primal Fear, which I have seen, musta have missed him though. So I watched again, but I guess I blinked and missed him again. Saw him on a rerun of NYPD Blue. He was his usual greasy punk-ass self. Someone told me he was good in Sunchasers. I highly doubt it but I'll see if I can find it at Blockbuster. I'll give him one more chance. Like he deserves it.
What really pisses me off are the people who say he's cute, sexy, etc. Those people are a disgrace to my species. Andre Braugher is sexy. Kyle Secor is cute. Clark Johnson is etc. Not Jon Seda. He looks like he's a 12 year old who has probably never seen the inside of a shower.
But I guess Jon Seda did bring some fans in. It doesn't matter if those fans appreciate the show or even get it. But it does help keep it on the air.
I can't think of anymore ways to say how much I hate Falsone, guess I'll have to wait for more eps to reactivate my braincells. Oh wait, there is a lone synapse. In the 2hr ep Falsone looked ridiculous as a priest! Most of the others looked like maybe they could have been real priests. (Hey, Munch coulda converted.) Falsone just looked like a young punk, not holy or pious looking at all. It just infuriated me, being a semi-catholic and all, that they would think anyone would believe HIM as a priest!!!
One other thing, I was watching fx the other day and saw a little of the NYPD Blue with Jon Seda, and since was basically doing the same acting that he does as Falsone, I think I can truthfully say that Jon Seda is a BAD actor. Supposedly he was in "12 Monkeys", which is on Starz this week. I saw that movie on video a while ago and don't remember him, I think I'll watch it again and give him one last chance to dazzle me with his acting ability (yea right). If not, well I might just have to give up on the actor as well. I gave him a fair shot, so no one can criticize me for not giving him a chance.
The reason that I hate Greasy is that he symbolizes everything that has recently gone wrong with the show. We as loyal viewers should not just sit idaly by and whatch the best DANM sow on T.V. go to hell. NO. as fans of H:LOTS we must unite and find a way to snap the writers of the show back into reallity. As for the pro Jon Seda E-mail I read I just want to say WATCH THE OLD SHOWS AND STOP SMOCKING CRACK! for gods sake I mean look at the great old shows like Crusetti and the Anabella Willgis murders. Those were good episods. If any writers take the time to read this page please please don't make make Bayliss gay theres nothing wrong with gay people but Bayliss is just not gay does EMMA ZULE ring a bell huh wake up you stupid f**kers and stop writing just plain bad stuff. I mean it's better to cancle the show than to have it become a less watched NYPDB. If any body wants to join me in a quest to kill all of the writers and take over for ourselves e-mail me at Munch26@juno.com
Rob, some one wrote that Jon had a picture of Tom Fontana and a 13 year old boy together in bed------ could you explain what the hell is up with that? That really tripped me out!!!!!!! I think it was on the 2nd page of your hate mail something like"Jon has a picture of Tom fontana with a 13 year old boy in bed " Then the person says "How do you think hes got so many stories on him?" I would like to know exactly what that meant , if ya could ...... Yes I am a Seda fan but his role as Falsone is not flatering Ive been in to Seda for a loooooong time.And in defense of my "Jonny"{ as I jokingly call him ,}he is a terrific actor,check him out in OZ,as Dino Ortaloni or Sunchasers .And a I think he is hot looking{just for the record}if I ever get married again Im getting a guy that looks like him.....HOWEVER I will retch if he does a stupid love scene on Homicide ...and the role he plays is weak compared to what he is capable of.Its the writters not Jon,but thats Hollywood isnt it? its sad when that happens to actors .I do understand the dissapointment with Falson though but that doesnt mean that Jon is a bad actor.Thats it ...hope to hear from ya Rob,later..........
I visited your Falsone-Hating Page by way of some Homicide links. I thought it might be a bit of fun. As I am not too huge a fan of the man. I like him alright though, as I respect what he is: The blue-collar pure-hearted good cop. And despite the shellacking y'all give him for being "one cliched character", he wis only the next cop to fill this position. When the show premiered this slot was filled by Daniel Baldwin's Beau Felton. The street taught cop smart enough to get to Homicide, but not really smart enough to stay there. Then Beau got suspended and along came Kellerman. The "my daddy worked hard for us so's we could grow up right" cop with his "all I ever wanted to be was a cop; that's who I am" shtick. (It may not sound it, but I like both characters. Felton is still one of my favorites.) But then Kellerman became suspect of taking bribes and killed a man. The spot yet again needed refilling. Hello Falsone. I agree, Falsone does by far the worst job of filling the position despite the writers' valient attempts at giving him purpose and evoking pathos. Nevertheless, he's the litmus test. He's the control. He's the saltine the makes the Ritz's taste extra good. And he will never, he cannot ever, hurt such a uniquely superior series. Because the series while helped by peerless writing, acting, direction, production... soars because it is one of only a handful of series throughout television history that has this special ingrediant: purpose. Beyond entertainment, though it finds a way to entertain far more than most.
Falsone: One of the Romans that persecuted Christ is more like it. And he was standing at the back of the crowd.
From: Ebb (Ebberman@aol.com) Subject: Falsone, Falsone. Wherefore art thou Falsone?
I see what your saying. I would agree that Falsone is a bit more NYPD Blue. But that's actually a bit of what I like about him. He adds that dimension to the show. It gets really annoying and really old that NYPD has Sipowitcz, the good racist, beat people up week after week. I have no first hand experience there, but I don't doubt cops get physical regularly enough. So I like that Falsone's a bit of a goon. (Also, as an aside, I surmise that Falsone may - MAY - reconcile with Kellerman eventually on account of his brutishness: like when he socked that rapist and almost busted his jaw. Also, because he's now helping Meldrick with his covert operation. Whatever that is.) And actually, Homicide seems to be more physical this season than ever, what with Gharty's attack on the priest killer. I like it, as it's another ingrediant thrown into the pot. If they stop with the cerebral stuff, though, I'll scream bloody murder. As for the attack on Kellerman because he's a pretty boy, I just don't know. I liked him right off. They don't have as many proudly ugly people on as they used to, but they've always had some lookers. I wouldn't say Reed is any prettier than Kyle.
Plus, the pretty thing is also a big thing with the women characters. I love all their women. Even Russert. Especially Ballard. I actually never fully appreciated Howard until she was gone. ( And though she's often applauded for this supposed sexlessness, her hair - that crazy, electric red hair - was often praised.) And in a way, I think Howard was the weakest female character. Her agenda about her being a woman and just as good seems to betray deep insecurities. Whereas the other females just do the job. And let that speak for itself. Ballard's my favorite. Damn those who compare her with Diane Russel. Her hair and makeup are ridiculous and she hasn't had sex even once. It was only vaguely mentioned once that she might have. Plus, we're talking about a woman who carries a gun to work, wears decorative scarfs, gets in hillbilly bar brawls, swears vengeance, and speaks such beautiful words as "geez louise", "bee's knees", and "Holy Samole". I am smitten. I am not ashamed.
And for blissful ugliness and decadent whining, we'll always have Richard Belzer as John Munch.
Sigh.
From: RUDELIA (RUDELIA@aol.com) Subject: The unending suckiness of Falsone
Hey, just thought I'd drop you a line saying RIGHT ON for your anti- tribute to everyone's least favorite Homicide detective Paul "Calzone" Falsone, and to everyone else who despises him (with the exception of that person who dissed on Brodie). If I wanted to see some stereotypical "cop personality" wanker, I'd watch NYPD Blue. That episode where he gets all chummy with the kid whose parents are killed made me wanna barf, and what's up with that hair? Not to mention the attitude he had on the episode with the suspect who had AIDS, his constant complaints about his ex-wife, his defense of Luther Mahoney (though he has no objection to using physical violence against suspects who turn out not to be guilty), and just about everything he says, does, or looks at. I used to get somewhat annoyed by Kellerman, but Kellerman kicks ass on Calzone. Anyone who started watching the show just because they have some thing for John Seda is completely missing the point of Homicide. If you think guys like that are cute, go buy a beefcake calendar and be done with it. Yuck. Besides, if this were a forum for such sentiments, it would be called the "I love Paul Falsone" page (shudder). As it is, those who think that smarmy macho dork is such hot shit need to start their own page, even if they are all straight trippin'.
I'm not a big fan of Falsone, nor of Jon Seda. I did get some gratification, however, when I was fortunate enough to see Oz for the first time (you know, the show about a prison produced by Fontana & Levinson. In this particular episode, Jon Seda played a violent criminal incarcerated for murder. If you don't want me to spoil the ending, don't continue to read this, but......let's just say that it would greatly reduce this incredibly realistic program's credibility if they ever brought him back again as a guest star.
