STRAWBERRY SHORT CAKE


Take 1/3 of strawberries, slice place in bowl top with 1 tsp. sugar. Mash with a fork, set aside. Slice cake in half. over 1 half of cake drizzles mashed strawberries. Place other half of cake back on top. With beaters, whip whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Add I tsp. of sugar. With a spatula place whip cream on top and sides of cake. Quarter remaming strawberries and place around cake. Chill in fridge until serving time.
