MILK CHOCOLATE CHIP MARSHMALLOW FUDGE

3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
2-1/4 cups sugar
1-3/4 cups (7-oz. jar) marshmallow creme
2 cups (11.5-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Line 9-inch square pan with foil.
In heavy 3-quart saucepan, combine evaporated milk, butter, sugar and marshmallow creme. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to rolling boil; boil and stir 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Immediately add chips and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into prepared pan.

Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Remove from pan; place on cutting board. Peel off foil; cut into squares. About 5 dozen pieces.
NOTE: For best results, do not double this recipe.
