Lugdunum is the only sector the people of Masque have been operating in as of late.
We will take part in the team tournament when it comes back online, but we no longer look eagerly towards its return
Sorry it has been so long since I last updated this page.Time did not allow it in Dec, and I did not want to give anything away in the finale round of the tourny.
When it was my turn to pick my starting slot in tourny, slots 3 threw 6 (maybe 7) were open.
I desided to be entered 3rd, Al camp and Del Hart were both entered in the last half of the slots and I hoped to be on the other end of the map from them
Well on update 2, I meet Al (playing as Endangered Species).
Hoping to gain time, I quickly turn this blood game to a cutthroat. I negotiated a peace with Al.
About update 5 I meet Sir dragonet North and Del south.I was colonizing and terriforming, and NOT overbuilding or pop tricking. Al could see my HW and had ships ready to move in when he seen it.
Del was colonizing south of me while Sir Dag showed no movement in my direction
So I went after 2 of del"s colonies to push him back and hope some one would be striking at him from another side
I got one colony nuked after 3 attempts on 2 colonies at the same time. I think it was only out of maneuvers and Del may have had a tech advantage at this time.
We also went to cutthroat statues at this time
Feste, and Goth were to my NW and must have been in a fearsome battle. Their econs stayed low.
With the new truce with Del, and Sir Dag nuked, Al broadcast a message that lead me to believe he was going to fall to Gnasher in the next few updates.
I wanted Als colony next to my HW, but did not want it nuked. This was the most valuable planet I could see.
I built a colony to keep ready for Als demise, and sent my fleet to the NW.
This is when Al Cutthroat me (as expected eventually) and built a large fleet next to my HW.
I had to turn my fleet around and build sats and minefields in hopes of staving off the attack. Al had just turned br4, I was Still br3.
I was the 4th player nuked, Congrats Al
