MAX ROSS I was born March 19, 1941 in Chester County (Henderson), Tennessee to Colivar and Willie Mae Ross. I am the fourth child in a family of six siblings. My father died when I was six years of age. The responsibility of raising and keeping our family together fell upon my Mother whom departed this life on June 14, 2000 at 95 years 8 months and 3 days old. Momma was born on October 11, 1904. I attended public schools in Chester County and received a B.S. Degree in Animal Science from Tennessee State University at Nashville, Tennessee in 1965. Immediately, upon graduation from college, I began an employment career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. My career with Soil Conservation Service covered a span of more than 28 years before my retirement in April of 1994. My career with Soil Conservation Service helped me to develop a keen awareness for the appreciation of our earth's soil and water resources. In 1987, I established a small business, in which I am currently involved on a part-time basis. In October of 2003 I became involve in another venture that has proven to be very interesting. I have two daughters, Pamela and Kimberly, and three grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler are twins, Mckinlie Day is the new kid on the block. Kimberly is their mother.

Pamela Ross was born December 9, 1964 at Nashville, Tennessee. Educated in the Meigs County (Decatur), Tennessee, school system. Graduated valedictorian of her high school graduation class of 1983. Attended college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Pamela completed her Residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio and a two year Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at The Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia. Pamela is presently, Division Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia Health and Science Center at Charlottsville, Virginia.
