Cable Wiring
for
Cable Box, VCR, WebTV
Surround Sound
Stereo
1. main tv coax cable IN to cable box.
2. coax
OUT from cable box
to IN on vcr
3. coax
OUT from vcr
to IN on
webtv
4. coax OUT of
webtv to IN on
tv
5. A/V
cables OUT from
vcr to IN on
webtv.
6. A/V cables
OUT from webtv to
IN on vcr.
The A/V
cables are color coded, normally Yellow, White &
Red.
If you
want to watch the pip put the vcr on ch 3 or 4
whichever your tv and webtv are set up for.
If you
want to tape or use a VidCap off the web, set he vcr
to line in. When its set to line in you should be
able to tape anything you want off the
web.
If your vcr has a 2 line input, you can plug a camcorder/digital camera into the line 2 IN.
To use it just select the correct line input on your
vcr remote.
This way you use your VCR as a buffer between the camera and WebTV box. This saves getting "fried" video circuits on the WebTV box that many people have reported..
