Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck joined the ensamble of the Phantom company in 1991 and began performing the role of Meg in 1994. For the eight and a half years prior to that she was a principal dancer with the Hubbard Street Dance Company (Chicago). There she had the honor of working with Twyla Tharp, Lou Conte, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Margo Sappington, David Parsons, and others. Other dance credits include Harbinger Dance Company (Detroit), Diamond Dance (New York), and MUS-SAWWIR (New York). Her first training came from 13 years of gymnastics competition on international and collegiate levels. Kitty was invited by the Swiss government to train the men's Olympic gymnastics team in dance.
