FXXKIN' In The Bushes
So, did your copy of SOTSOG have the title of 'Fuckin' In The Bushes' censored? What do you think?

It's garbage. I'm old enough to hear that word and would have bought the explicit had I found it.
I think it's a good idea because kids should not be exposed to that FXXKIN' swearing.
I refused to buy the censored version and will wait until the explicit one is available.
Don't care one way or another.

The Meg Matthews Oasis Page has been voted "Site Of The Week" at the-masterplan.com! Nice honour as The Masterplan is a very popular site.

The Oasis Module will be sent a funeral wreath by Robbie Williams ;) on March 6th so I have taken it down today. If you still want to give it one last look, check out nme.com

Thanks to everyone who has e-mailed me about meeting up at the Toronto gig... I have your e-mails filed and I will be making some plans and sending out info at the beginning/middle of April. Anyone else who hasn't e-mailed yet who wants to meet up is still more than welcome. I'm going to have to wear a "Hello... My Name Is..." tag at the gig or something!

The scan of the "censored" FITB sleeve is not showing up because I haven't been able to scan it. If anyone with a scanner and SOTSOG would be so kind as to scan it and e-mail it I would be eternally grateful.

For those of you into reviews, here are a pile of reviews... some good, some bad, but it's fashionable to slag off Oasis now, isn't it? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

Yes, this is a sad excuse for an update. Still have stars in my eyes from the album though... Anyway, go here and vote for Oasis for the "Battle Of The Bands" contest vs. Smashing Pumpkins.

Listening to SOTSOG a million times in a row as I write this... quite frankly, who isn't that's reading this page right now? Show yourselves, and then get out!!!! ;)

Got the new poll up in the usual spot at left below the menu... Click on the pic at right for evidence of what I am talking about. Boy, was I ever pissed off down the HMV this morning with that little display of big-boy censorship. Not an "explicit" version to be found in Canada, apparently - please e-mail me if you have purchased one in Canada. I even went as far as listening to it on the listening post to ensure they had not bleeped the sample out as I would have thrown it back in their faces and ordered the import from the UK. Korn's "explicit" version of their crap? Available freely anywhere you want it. Now that is the true censorship.

Anyway... I'm going to go back to listening to my big, bad "clean" version of SOTSOG... in the meantime, post your thoughts about the censoring and the album tracks on my message board. It needs some love too.

A quick note of thanks to everyone who helped support my page in the Top 100 Oasis sites... looks like I've secured a spot in the Top 20 for now!

My nails can start to grow again as the on-sale date for the Toronto gig has been announced. Read the on-sale info at Ticketmaster. Again, if anyone is coming, please e-mail me and we can hopefully meet up.

Anyone listen to the CBC session this weekend? David Wisdom actually dedicated the session to me, I was so touched!

I promised a new poll today but the service is down today. I will have one up ASAP. And I guess we were *all* wrong on the last one... here's a little blurb about the truth on who played the solo for "Roll It Over".

"His name is Paul 'Strangeboy' Stacey. He was the engineer on the album and did all the demos with me. We were doing the demo for 'Roll It Over' in the studio at Supernova Heights and it got to the bit for the solo and I couldn't play it. So he did. We listened back, it was good, and left it on the demo and we were going to re-do it when we came to record it. But as luck would have it, we never got the sound back that matched that so we just left it. But I can play it, honest. I can."

Just a quick update as I will be away this weekend.

Don't forget about the CBC Radio session this weekend. It is a brand new session recorded exclusively for Canada but is available on a webcast. All of the information is available on this page under my February 3 news.

To the right is a supposed cover of the "Who Feels Love" single. I'm not saying anything about this one... whether it's real or not. Last time I said it was fake it was the real deal (in the case of the cover of SOTSOG). I'll let you be the judge this time!

A new poll and more news Monday when the album is released in the UK! I'll be banging down the door at HMV on Tuesday morning, rest assured. :)

Here it is! My brand new, redesigned, rescanned, and 100% exclusive Oasis photo gallery.

The photos were all taken by either myself or my friends, and spans 7 years of Oasis from (1992-1998). To the right is a picture of Liam, Noel and myself taken backstage at the Toronto 95 gig - right at the height of "Wonderwall" mania. Please read the disclaimer before viewing the pictures. Noel will be interviewed live by VirginRadio.com on Tuesday, February 15 at 7.30pm GMT. Noel will chat about and playing tracks from the new album.

Two cameras in the studio will provide a fly-on-the-wall view of Noel and site visitors will have the chance of winning a signed guitar as well as other signed Oasis merchandise.

In site news, I have revamped my features page. Take a look if you haven't already - there is so much there to see.

Thought I'd give you a quick update since the module has this incredible acoustic version of "Sunday Morning Call". It is different than the French Radio one that is floating around and is not the Radio One version. There is also another interview segment... it looks like they are doing some sort of documentary on the making of SOTSOG.

The news section promises another song on Feb. 14th, but we all know what happened last time we wrote the date down waiting for the next song... LOL.

Anyone coming to Toronto on April 29th for the gig, e-mail me. I'm going to possibly organize a trip down the pub or something with a bunch of mad for it fans either "pre" or "post" gig. (So I guess you would have to be 19 please :) ) This would not involve getting backstage - it might even take place on the 28th evening or the 30th afternoon - so please don't ask that favour. You wouldn't believe how many requests I get and I simply can't honour them all. Thanks for your understanding. I'm flying out from Regina as well so I will be pressed for time as it is.

Remember the radio session I said that Oasis had done for the CBC back in January? Now I have a scoop on the details of the broadcast.

It will be broadcast on Saturday, Febrary 26th on CBC Radio Two (Canada). You can check out the details by visiting the official Radiosonic website.

The show airs on the radio in Canada from 7PM-midnight no matter which timezone you are in (exceptions: ATL +1hr and NFLD +1.5hrs). Good news for those outside of Canada - there is also a webcast of the show available on the internet at 7PM-Midnight EST (Midnight-5AM UK) right here, and again from Midnight-5AM EST (5AM-10AM UK) here. Be sure to click the right one now!

Unfortunately I do not know when it will be on exactly during the 5 hour period but the sessions are usually done in the 2nd or 3rd hour as a rule.

The endless saga of Oasis insanity continues for me.

I am going to Disney World April 30th - May 7th, something which had been booked accomodation-wise for 5 months now. I was waiting on the plane ticket for a good fare. When Oasis was in Toronto in early January there was talk of them playing on April 29th. I kept that in the back of my mind and yesterday it was a do-or-die on my plane fare for a charter seat sale. I decided to plan a stay-over in Toronto on the 29th in the hopes that they would confirm.

My plane ticket involves driving to Winnipeg, MB (6 hour drive) and then boarding a plane for a 2 hour flight to Toronto (I live in the Canadian Prairies) because I had to fit Toronto in there. Quite frankly I would have been destroyed had they changed the date - having to go through all of this to spend a night in Toronto that I didn't need to if they weren't playing. I could have flown straight to Orlando for less money but I did it with a prayer that the boys would come through for me.

Today Oasis confirmed an April 29th gig in Toronto. My luck is coming back... bring on NUMBER NINE!!!!!! Visit the Official Site for the rest of the dates. I think that's the first time I have linked to the official site aside from the module... LOL. Quite sad when bollocks like Ricky Martin, Puff Daddy and Bad Boy Friggin' Records have far superior websites than the biggest band in Britain, but what can you do?
