Kevin and Brian had family gatherings as treats, where they got together in their hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. The Kev took a trip to Orlando, Florida, where he met Howie, AJ and Nick. Howie, AJ and Nick always bumped into each other at the same auditions and every time they met, they'd start harmonising together. So, of course, when Kev heard through the grapevine about "these guys who harmonise all the time", he arranged a meeting with them, got on the phone to Brian immediately. From there the Backstreet Boys were born and are a great success.

After years of success in Europe and the rest of the world, it seems the hard work is paying off for them But don't think they'll make the mistake of jumping onto the big screen too soon. Kev said, "There have been acting offers and we've all done drama. Nick has a theatical agent. We'd like to do other things, but right now we're focusing on music."
