Mike's Grothoth Campaign

Waterdeep Waggler

(As reported by the roaming reporter, Rebecca Mistworth.)

Miner Your Own Business

Our adventuring bandits are still down-under raiding, uh, I mean, exploring what they think is an ancient city of beholders. So far, they haven't seen much of anything but stone. I guess that seeing stone, stone, and more stone would cause anyone to lose a few marbles (except, of course, dwarves, who seem to have granite blood). Our Paladin's Palatines must have been really bored because they started to attack a stone statue. It seems that their raiding activated some kind of stone sentential that proceeded to defend its territory. For some reason or another, it attacked the dwarf to the exclusion of everyone else. My personal theory is that it recognized some intruding kinsman invading its personal quarry, but that's just speculation on my part. Oh, don't worry about the dwarf. Luckily, he got hit on the head, so he survived smashingly.

Other Items

Due to recent developments, the Church of Tyr has dropped all charges. We, at the Waterdeep Waggler, are breathing a collective sigh. It's not like we didn't think that we would win. It's just that the courts have a way of sapping energy and creativity out of the best of us.

We would just like to say, "Thank you," to all the supporters who wrote in. It seems that the "Arms of Justice" have smashed more than the press lately. This makes us wonder who watches them.

Oh well. 'Til next time, we keep doing our own watching of our little banditos and keep reporting the news! Ta ta.
