Inspirational Thoughts
In life we go through a lot of things....some happy, some not. There are times when we rejoice because of the joy we received, be it because of love, success or friendship. And there are times when everything seem to go wrong, when you shed more tears than give smiles, and you just don't understand why. Sometimes life seem unfair... where you give your all but seem to gain nothing in return. And it's when life seem to run downhill, where you feel like giving up hope But you know you can't. Here is a prayer I would like to share with you, should you ever feel like giving up; and some inspirational words which I'm trying to live by at the moment. Just remember that when you feel lost, and sad and on the verge of giving up...DON'T... because you are not alone.
God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace. Taking, as He did, this Sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. Amen ~Reihold Neibuhr~
Life
Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important, Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as they would your life, for without them, life is meaningless. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life. Don't give up when you still have something to give, Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect, It is this fragile thread that binds us each together. Don't be afraid to encounter risks, It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. The quickest way to receive love is to give; The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; And the best way to keep love is to give it wings. Don't dismiss your dreams. To be without a dream is to be without hope; To be without hope is to be without purpose. Don't run through life so fast that you forget... Not only where you've been, but also where you are going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way. Yesterday is History Tomorrow is a Mystery And Today Today is a gift that's why we call it The Present.
