When You Were
Safe
When you were beneath my wing, my son
I prayed that the nights would bring you rest,
and full your dreams of tomorrow with great
wonders,
The Angels would call out to you, and I could see
you smile in that land of dreams, as I would set by
your bed side, and watch you sleep from with in...
Oh Heavenly Father. send your Angels, as
you once did, in the night to watch over him...
For the night is so very dark and cold, through those
prison gates...
Yes, Heavenly Father, send your Angels through steel
doors and concrete floors...
Let them shout your name, from the top of the tower...
Let the spot light bring warmth, instead of sorrow..
Bring forth the Angels from the east, to the west,
from the north, to the south...
Let them stand guard over all our lost sons and
daughters...
I ask this in your son's name....
Amen
