Pour yourself a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy.

It has been sometime since I have had an opportunity to update this site but I am busy working on it so please be patient while I get it whipped back into shape. I have tried to create a place you will enjoy and like to visit often

What you will find here is a little information about me, (I was told I needed to put that part in. *S*) along with various links to some of my family and friends sites as well as links to several of my favorite sites, including Angels, Friendship Poems, and Recipe sites. I have also added some links for Homepage Building, including HTML, JavaScript, Tutorials, Free Web Graphics and more for those who are building their own site, this page is a great starting place.

About Me ...

I moved to Southern California with my wonderful husband Dan, my two dogs, Muffin and Patches, from Colorado to be homecare providers for my in-laws. As things sometimes do, it did not work out as planned and I became a prisoner in my own home.

I am thankful to be mother of two wonderful children. The oldest, Frank, his wife, and their 2 lovely daughters still live in Colorado.  My youngest, Lucinda (Cindi), died in an automobile accident in 1990 at the age of eighteen.

My three brothers and three sisters are scattered all over the United States  Coming soon my family photo album.

I suffer from an illness called Uveitus. In very basic terms, my immune system thinks my eyes are a foreign object and is trying to rid itself of them, like a rejected kidney transplant. I have participated in several experimental studies for Uveitis at NIH (National Institute of Health) in Bethesda, Maryland and at this point, there are no more alternatives. I have lost the vision in my right eye, and I am required to wear a patch. It is difficult because I do not "look" sick.

Although I have had some set backs in my life, my motto is, “Do the best you can with what you have, where you are today, you have no control over yesterday or tomorrow.”

My favorite omnibuses include angels and bells, of which I have a small assortment. Most of my bell collection represents places I have visited or lived the angels remind me we have angels among us every day. Along with my other interests, I also enjoy listening to music although I do not have a favorite type or favorite artist, cooking which I do not get the opportunity to do much of around our house. My hobbies include crocheting, painting sweatshirts, crafts, editing photos, writing computer programs, and taking fitness classes. When we get the opportunity, we enjoy fishing, camping, and generally being out doors.

How this site came about.

Although, I was not happy about the whole idea when my husband came home with our first computer in August 1996, I deemed I would try it. After nearly a week, I finally understood the concept of turning it off and on and learned to navigate some of the programs. After many weeks, I conquered my fear of the computer, and it did not take me long to realize I really liked playing with the graphic programs. My wonderful husband indulged me and soon I was making calendars, greeting cards, and holiday decorations.

I started surfing the web and saw sites that impressed me so much I wanted to make a homepage of my own. So in September 1998, not knowing anything about it I jumped in with both feet and created my first webpage by looking at other peoples websites, and finding as many online tutorials as I could. At that point, I began doing websites for friends and family finding it is a wonderful way to express myself and now have three websites each devoted to its own subject.

In June 1999, with a little coaxing from one of my brothers, I decided that I wanted to become a Professional Web Designer. In August of the same year, I started college and have been learning new and wonderful things ever since. In view of that fact, I now have a Webmaster Associates of Arts degree
