Mountainspun Shetland Sheep Farm is my dream come true!
Located in the Beautiful Mountains of Southern Vermont .
I am most grateful to my Creator for allowing me to live here
and for allowing me to raise these wonderful animals!
I am also grateful to Him that He has given
me the skills to be able to create such works of art from their fibers.
A Bit About Mountainspun Farm:
At Mountainspun Farm we Selectively Raise Registered Shetland Sheep,
Gorgeous Llamas, Angora Rabbits, and other exotic Fiber Animals.
My Grandmother taught me how to knit when I was a child.
Then, I put knitting away for many years
until I discovered my love for
Hand Spinning my own Yarn and Weaving
As I worked on my BA In Fine Arts.

Mountainspun Shetland Sheep Were carefully chosen
for confirmation, NASSA Registration Standards,
Wool Quality, and Temperaments.
All Our sheep are exceptionally friendly,
wool quality is premium,
As I am a hand spinner myself.
Colors are Varied among the 11 basic colors
of Shetland sheep.
Mountainspun Shetland's have various markings
and color combinations.
Our Rams Have great horns, soft dense wool, and are very loving.
Our ewes are easy lambers. Here we have lots of twin bearing sheep,
All our sheep come when called by name, enjoy human contact,
being petted, hugged and hand fed.
We offer Shetland Sheep and Lambs for sale to approved homes.
We have breeding pairs, trio's, starter flocks,
ram and ewe lambs for sale when available by appointment only.
If you are interested in our sheep
please email us with your name,
and the city, and state you are from
and include info on your sheep
knowledge and experience level.
We gladly provide mentoring to new shepherds
after buying from us.
Please email us some info on your home,
fencing type and pasture.
If you are not experienced with sheep
please tell us so we can assist you
in preparing for and raising
These wonderful Shetland sheep.
We ask you a lot of Questions because
we want to be sure our sheep are
going to appropriate care givers
-adoptive parents.
For understandable reasons,
we operate as a 'CLOSED FARM'.
Absolutely NO VISITORS.
We are a hobbyist not a pet store OR petting zoo.
Some of the many reasons for operating like this are:
(1). Disease Control
(2). Disturbance Factor
(3). Time Constraints
(4). Privacy
(5). Security.

WE DO NOT SELL UNWEANED BUNNIES OR SHEEP!!
WE DO NOT SHIP OUR CRITTERS!!
**Due To The Outrageous Price Of Gasoline And Our Concerned Effort To Provide Reasonably Prices on our animals we do not ship or deliver annimals (we ups non living items).***
All our animals are sold via advance deposit
and pickup by pre-arrangement when weaned.
For these and other understandable reasons,
we operate MOUNTAINSPUN FARM as a 'CLOSED FLOCK',
