Around the World In 180 Days! 7th Grade World History at Durham Academy 

Welcome to "Around the World in 180 Days," a site designed primarily for
students in Mr. Peter Carey's 7th Grade World History Class at Durham 
Academy Middle School.

This site contains the course description and Mr. Carey's expectations
for students, a weekly assignment sheet, guidelines for major papers
and projects, "web assignments," study guides, and information on the
four areas of the world that we study in the course:  Asia, Africa, 
the Middle East, and South America.

Non-student visitors may find the links helpful for research, and many 
are extremely entertaining and interesting.  Mr. Carey welcomes 
suggestions to this "work in progress," from other teachers, students,
