Dark Cravings

The darkness that once was,

is now gone

The pain that has filled me,

Is now replaced by the will to be.

When I'm with her the possibilities are infinite

My soul soars like an eagle,

above the clouds

When without her,

my eyes search for some sign of her.

As a predator searches for prey.

My body craves her,

as if for some drug.

I long to be cradled in her embrace,

her body covering mine.

Like the morning dew covers the earth.

My soul needs her to live,

like an infant needs its mother.

This feeling drives me insane,

Like a caged animal trying to escape

through the bars that restrain it from freedom

I want her,

but cann't have her.
