In March, our class began a unit on exploration by researching our own familys' histories. To do this reseach we interviewed our parents and grandparents. After we found out where we were from, we picked one of the counties and read a non-fiction book about it. After the research was finished, Ms. Barnett taught us how to use a multimedia program called hyperstudio to display our projects. The first card was done by following step by step directions. For our second card, Ms. Barnett gave us the freedom to do whatever we wanted, as long as the information was factual.
