This book is about a ship that finds a stone on an island. The stone has a flat screen that glows. The sailors forget everything else they are doing while they are watching it. Only reading books will save them. As you read, it's your job to find out what the stone really is.

I liked how you have to figure out what the stone is. I also liked when the men turned into monkeys. That was funny.
