AGAIN I DREAM OF YOU
One peaceful
night, as I closed my eyes and my body rested,
I had a dream
of you again and the love that we shared.
I dreamed of us
walking along the beach
and holding each
other tight.
I was gazing into
your eyes
and saw what Forever
looked like.
What a wonderful
thing to see!
I could see into
your soul through
your beautiful
eyes and smile.
All I could think
about was how lucky I was.
Then, as
our lips began to meet,
you vanished without
a trace.
I woke up hoping
to find you next to me and realized it was
just a dream.
I closed my eyes
once more
to take me to
where we could meet once again
and there you
were lying on a blanket,
in a field of
soft grass and wildflowers.
I walked over
to you and knelt by your side.
Softly caressing
your cheek,
I whispered "I love you my angel"
As I leaned over
to kiss your lips,
the palm of your
hand met my lips.
You whispered
"Not just yet.
I love you my Knight
,but at this time, it isn't right"
Then you vanish
once more
I woke
up wondering what that meant
and why do you
again, vanish from me.
This time I laid
back and closed my eyes once more,
not so I can find
you
but to find the
rest I needed.
As I lay and slept,
I felt myself this time appear near a creek.
I heard the frogs,
the crickets and the birds singing their songs
and I was admiring
the clouds up above.
I lay near a
grassy bank,
placed my hands
up behind my head and closed my eyes.
A voice of an
angel whispers in my ear.
"I am here now, my Love … Now is our time….
The first time
you sought me out was for comfort,
and the comfort
you must make for yourself.
The second time
you sought me out
was for love and
happiness…
You must first
find that in yourself…
You have learned
that it's all up to you.
Now that you have
found what you seek.
I came and am here….
Now the love that
you feel is what we truly
share".
I opened my eyes
and reached up to hold your soft gentle face
bringing my lips
to yours.
As our lips came
closer,
I stopped within
a whisper's length
as my words softly
brush against your lips
"I have loved you
for longer than
I shall ever be able to explain.
With you, my Love,
I shall remain.
I am glad you waited
until now"
Then our lips met
and the kiss and
the passion brought us so much closer .
Our world changed
all around.
The birds sang
sweeter and the animals all surrounded us.
The clouds turned
into soft smiles.
Just goes to
show if one is patient
and waits long
enough,
all shall come
to them.
I close my eyes
once more
and I see us together,
with all the love
that is there .
Only one thing
was new.
The love we have
is also walking around.
For the love
we have made from two
is now more.
