PROFILE

Robert Rose is reguarded as one of the best players to ever play in Australia. He has been compared to many players but perhaps the most fitting comparisin is when Rose is compared to Bullets legend and League Stalwart Leroy Loggins. Rose doesn't just do a little of everything, on his night he is the best at everthing. He can give you 40 points when needed or 15 rebounds when required. What ever it takes to win Rose can give you. He is always in the league leaders in assists and steals and his defence is one of the best in the league. Rose won the 1993 M.V.P award when he came up with an unbelievable 18.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 7.5apg, 1.0bpg, 3.2spg while shooting 48% feld goals and 80% from the free throw line. When Rose went to Adelaide he added the only thing people had said he lacked, a three point shot. And when he came to Canberra he established himself as one of the leagues better three point bombers. Robert Rose until 1997 never had a team that didn't reach the Semi-Finals and that is a testement to his competitiveness and drive that makes him so great. Many coaches and players around the NBL describe Rose as the most competitive player in the league, he is a proffesional he will play for any team and make them a legit play off contender. And he always makes his teammates better.
