The Brisbane Bullets tied up a number of loose ends today, announcing the signing of former South East Melbourne Magic foward Ben Knight and 'officially' coming to an agreement with CBA Northern Conference Youth Player of the Year Paul Scott. Steve Mcleod also announced he was quiting his job as Assistant coach to take advantage of a business opportunity. He left on good terms and had this to say about the Bullets chances in the upcoming summer season. "My time with the Bullets has been very rewarding, and as a fan I will be watching the team closely during the season. I believe that the team that we have put together will be even better than last year's, and they have a fantastic coach in Brian Kerle making sure that they achieve their potential".

Brian Kerle was dissapointed to lose his assistant but is already looking at possible replacements including former Bullets head coach Bruce Palmer. "Steve is an excellent coach and I felt very fortunate last season to have had him part of my team. He contributed a great deal through his time and his knowledge of the game, and I wish him all the best in his new venture", Kerle said.

New Bullets recruits Brendan Mann and Phil Doherty unveiled the Bullets new uniform today. The Uniform is part the NBL's new marketing strategy which includes a high priced advertising campaign promting the league with the slogan, 'nothin better'.
