59th TN Homepage
"Half Hoss, Half Gator"

First of all I'd like to thank you for visiting my web site. The 59th Tn is a Civil War Re-enactment group from the Tri-Cities (Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City) located on the Virginia/Tennessee border. The group is composed mainly of students and graduates of Tennessee High School located in Bristol, TN. The group is loosely associated with the Boys Scouts of America designated as an Explorer Scout Unit (Troop 2014). The groups organizer and Captain is Carl Jenkins, a history teacher at Tennessee High School. The group attends a minimum of 6 events each year from March to November. In the following sections I will provide a brief history of the original 59th, show some photos from events attended, and provide some of my favorite links to Civil War sites. I hope you enjoy visiting my site and refer it to others.
