Today amid a turmoil of anticipation, Emperor Jaco of Naylorius made the long awaited decision; Earth is to become an affiliate of the Naylorius Empire. The decision came after hours of contemplation and counsel from the Grand War Council. Principle discussion included a statement of the technologicaly barbaric state of the planet as well as their imoral characteristics.

In a statement released from the Imperial Palace in Nayloria today the Emperor is quoted as saying that, "While the planet Earth is by far... unworthy to become a part of the great Naylorius Empire, we shall welcome them into the fold and help them come to an understanding of our greatness. Preparations are being made to attack the planet on January 1, 2000 (Earth Standard Time) should they not submit to our advance diplomatic team sent out today."

After his statement, the Emperor left His Imperial Majesty, Poobah Vowles to answer all questions pertaining to the approaching doomsday for earth. Poobah Vowles then continued into the mid afternoon answering questions about the importance of conquering Earth at this stage in its development. Poobah Vowles reasured the citizens of Naylorius that the war would be quick and deathless on our behalf and that afterwards, a race of explorers would be added into the ranks giving the empire's military and science programs a boost in excitement and morale. "The is nothing to fear, but only reason for the people of the great Empire of Naylorius to celebrate. We shall emerge victorius."
