"You summoned me, my Prince?" The emerald haired woman asked, as she bowed low before the silver haired man. His purple eyes narrowed with a grin, the man sat upon a black stone throne, and wore a white suit trimmed with deep purple.
"That I did, Esmeraude." He said, and she lifted her gaze to meet his own.
"What can I do for you, Prince Dimando-sama?" She asked, smiling at the thought of aiding her prince.
"I want you to give this message to Rubeus. The days events in the past has given me an idea..." Esmeraude nodded eagerly, and the Prince began to speak again...
***************************************************************************** Rubeus stood before a mirror, watching his reflection silently. "The Rabbit is gone..." His voice was strangely soft, when he did speak finally. "Somehow... Somehow, we must use this to our advantage."
"And Prince Dimando-sama has figured that out, Rubeus." Rubeus turned swiftly, and stopped in his tracks when he saw who stood their. A woman, wearing a deep green short dress, with long pale green hair...
"Esmeraude." He said, his voice low, threatening. "What do YOU want?"
"I'm here to tell you of our Princes plan..." She replied with a soft grin.
"Won't it threaten your own standing?" He asked, an eyebrow lifted in question.
"I-I have nothing but loyalty for Prince Dimando-sama!" She retorted, and he nodded,
"Right..." He grinned. Then, his tone serious, he asked, "Tell me our Princes plan."

Luna was afraid, afraid for Usagi. It had been a week since Chibiusa had disappeared, and even though the Tsukino family had forgotten about the little girl ever existing, Usagi still remembered. She sat in her room, in front of the window, staring outside at the clouds. She didn't move, she barely ate... Her parents were afraid for her life. Everyone was afraid for her life... "I never thought this would happen. I mean, CHIBIUSA-CHAN, is gone. All she ever caused Usagi-chan was annoyance. But now, Usagi-chan is like she isn't even alive... I wish I could do something." But Luna knew nothing could be done. The Black Moon had Chibiusa, and Mamoru still hated Usagi. "Somehow I have to make him understand... She's dying. If he's not their for her, she'll fade away...,p> Usagi looked out the window, watching her reflection in the glass. Next to her, on the desk, was her brooch. She looked down at it, then back up at her reflection. "What now?" She asked, her voice trembling. "What do I do now?" She stood, and pushed in the chair. "Chibiusa... Somehow, I must save her..." She sighed, as she walked towards her door, and stood their, hand poised before the nob. "But how can I save her... How can I save her when the Future's doomed because I let them take her..."
*****************************************************************************
"Queen Serenity, about the girl..." Luna began, but the queen stopped her abruptly.
"I can feel why Serenity feels the way she does about the child. She seems familiar... A like spirit." Luna smiled.
"So I should trust her?" The queen nodded, as Luna spoke.
"Yes, you should... And protect her as though she were my own child..."
Chibiusa walked in from the gardens, smiling. A man with short, whitish hair, and grey eyes stood before her. She smiled, not seeing the grim look on his face.
"The gardens of the Moon are beautiful!" She exclaimed, twirling around happily.
The man sighed, as he replied, "Yes, they are..."
Chibiusa looked up at him, and blinked. "Are you all right? You seem sad." The man seemed taken aback.
"Eh... Nothing like that." He replied quickly.
"Oh... Then I'll be on my way!" She said with a smile, and began to skip past him.
"I don't think so..." He said, grabbing her arm. She cried out in shock,
"What do you think you're doing?!" She demanded, as she slammed her foot down onto his. His eyes bugged out, as he let go of her. She backed away, "Princess Serenity will make you pay for this..." She was surprised to see him grinning, **He doesn't care if he gets in trouble!** Chibiusa felt the first real effects of fear stirring deep within her. She was truly terrified.
She took another step away, shaking her head, her eyes wide with fear. "I don't know what you want... But I..." She turned to run, and stopped just as sudden. Another man stood before her, this one with short blond hair, and blue eyes. She bit back a scream. "Wh-What did I do?!" She cried. "Just leave me alone!" The new man grinned, as he was joined by two others.
"We WILL leave you alone." The first man, the man with white hair, said in a low voice. "Once we take care of you..." And then the blond haired man grabbed her...

Rei sighed, as she leaned back. Usagi was late... Or was she coming to the meeting at all? She sighed, as she turned her attention completely to the meeting.
"Now that they have Chibiusa-chan...," She began, trying to find the words she needed. "Her future..." She stumbled, as she shook her head. "Our future-" She was cut off abruptly, by another voice.
"It's ruined." Usagi said softly, as she walked into the room. She took a seat without another word.
"Us-Usagi!" Minako exclaimed, as she hugged her friend tightly.
"Sorry I'm late." She said, as she hugged Minako back. Minako sat back in her seat, waving her hand dismissively.
"It's all right... It's good to see you..." Usagi smiled, **Minako-chan always tries to make me feel better...**
"We didn't think you were coming..." Ami said quietly, looking up from her side of the table.
"What made you decide to come?" Makoto asked.
"I thought you..." Rei began, but stopped, as she let Usagi answer. "Well, I need to keep my mind free..." Usagi answered them all, then sighed, as she let her gaze drop.
"Usagi-chan..." Minako asked, biting her lip with worry. Usagi looked up, waving her hands.
"Don't look so glum, minna! I'm fine!"
*****************************************************************************
Chibiusa struggled, but the blond haired man was too strong. "Where should we dispose of her?"
"Take her to the dungeons..." The white haired man said in a controlled voice. The blond haired man nodded.
"Dungeons?!" Chibiusa cried. "Momma told me all about the palace! Their is no dungeons!"
"Little that you know, girl." The brown haired man grinned.
"So cold..." Chibiusa shivered, squirming in her captors grip.
"Kunzite, make up your mind." The man with wavy blond hair sighed. And Chibiusa's eyes bugged out in disbelief.
"No way!" She cried, drawing their attention to her once again.
"What do you find so disbelieving, child?" Kunzite asked, staring down at her.
"I know who you are now! I can't believe it..." She said, as she shook her head. **I never thought I'd see these four...**
"What are you talking about, child?" Zoisite asked.
"Yo-You're Beryl's Generals!" Chibiusa retorted, shouting it quite loudly. The four were taken aback at her words. But then, Kunzite grinned slowly.
"It seems she knows our little secret..."
"Stop! I won't let you hurt momma and poppa!" She cried, and Jadeite, the man who held her, grinned.
"Your parents? Don't worry, they won't hurt..." He grinned even more maliciously. "Much."
"No! I won't let you!" She squirmed, but Jadeite held her even tighter. "NO!" With a flash of light, a cresent moon flared to existence upon her forehead... The beam shot up into the sky...
*****************************************************************************
As the meeting went on, and on, Usagi slipped further and further into her depression. She couldn't keep her mind on the task at hand. She could only think about Chibiusa... And Mamoru. **They're both gone...** She stood, and brushed strands of hair from her face.
"I'm going to get some fresh air." She said, forcing a smile onto her face. "I'll be back..."
"Usagi-chan, do you-?" Minako began to ask, but Usagi shook her head, and cut her off,
"No, I'm all right. Go on without me, ne?" She began to stand, when Rei's voice cut in.
"Look, we know you're hurt! But you don't have to act like this!"
"I can't help it, Rei-chan..." Usagi replied. "I really can't... I lost Mamo-chan, and now Chibiusa. And I really did care for her. And him. But they are both gone..." Usagi sighed. "All I want to do is get them both back. But I can't..." She looked down, and Rei answered hotly.
"Even so, you don't have to keep acting like you do! You always act like you're the only one who counts, just because YOU'RE the Princess! But you aren't the center of everything! We matter too! And we care too! But no, you can't see that! All you can see is your own pity, you're own depression! So why don't you just wallow in it! Because until you've gotten past it, you won't be any help to us!"
The room then went deathly silent. Usagi lifted her gaze to meet Rei's, her blue eyes trembling with held back tears. "So I can't mourn? I can't be sad? What is wrong with hurting, Rei- chan?! What is?! Obviously everything to you, since you can't see how much I am hurting!" She stopped, as a small sob escaped her lips. She turned then, and ran from the room...

Mamoru walked silently, his gaze on the sidewalk. **Usako... It's killing me to do this. But I have to... Those nightmares...** He sighed, as he kept his gaze down. He didn't even notice Usagi run past him...
*****************************************************************************
Princess Serenity was startled by the rush of energy she felt well inside her. She turned her gaze to the sky, letting the flowers she held fall to the ground, and bit back a cry of shock. A radiant beam of light had shot into the sky. A beam that was somehow familiar...
The Princess shook her head, **What is that?** She asked herself, as her curiosity of the beam demanded she see what it was. She began to walk to the beam, when a sudden sense of fear came over her.
"Something is wrong..." She said softly, as she let her hands fall to her sides. She looked back up at the beam, and then began to run towards it...
*****************************************************************************
Usagi stopped running, as she came to a stop. Oblivious to the fact that the sky was darkening, that it was now well past dusk, she began to take a seat on a bench, when she was stopped suddenly...
"Well hello, Princess Serenity..." She heard a voice, one she didn't know at all. She snapped out of her revery, and looked up in surprise.
"Who-?" She stopped suddenly, as a woman materialized before her, floating in midair. A woman with long pale green hair, wearing dark green, though her most noticeable feature was the down pointing black cresent moon on her forehead.
"You're from the Black Moon." Usagi said, fear evident in her voice. **But I can't be afraid...** She put her hand to her brooch. And realized it wasn't their. **No... I... I must have left it at home... I'm doomed...** She swallowed her fear, staring up at the woman, who was grinning. "What do you want?"
"A trade." She answered, with that same grin.
"What do you mean?"
"We'll let you have the Rabbit back, if you give yourself up in return." Usagi's eyes widened,
"What..." She looked down, her gaze heavy. **I can save Chibiusa... But I'll be taken in return...**
"Well?" The woman asked again. "I don't have all day." Usagi stood their silently, then looked up at the woman.
**I'll show Rei-chan... I'll save Chibiusa...**
"Well?" The woman asked again. "What is your answer?"
"I'll do it." The woman smiled, as she leveled her hand at Usagi.
"Good." A black stream of energy shot from her hand, and struck Usagi. As Usagi screamed, and was enveloped in the energy, the woman grinned. "I'd have taken you any ways..."
*****************************************************************************
When Serenity came to where she was sure the beam of light had been, she was saddened to find nothing. She sighed, as she looked around. "I wonder what that was..." She took one last glance around, and headed back to her room. It was late, and she had a ball to get ready for...

Kunzite sighed in relief, as the Princess walked away. "I'm glad she didn't see us..."
"She wouldn't let us take the child, well... She'd try to keep us from taking her. But she can't die yet..." Chibiusa's eyes bugged out at Nephrite's words, but she kept silent due to the fact that Jadeite's hand was clamped over her mouth.
"Yes, Queen Beryl wants that pleasure all to herself..."
The four then left the palace, by way of a black portal. Chibiusa felt tears slip down her face, as she fell into the darkness of unconsciousness.
**Momma's gonna die... And theirs nothing I can do...**

That night on the Moon, the grand ball for the Princesses Birthday had begun. Only the Princess wasn't involved. "Where is Endymion?" She asked Venus, who shrugged her shoulders.
"I have no idea... I haven't seen Kunzite either."
"I know where they are." Mercury said quietly.
"You do?" Princess Serenity asked, and the blue haired girl nodded.
"It seems that the troubles between the Moon and the Earth have become greater. He had to be called back."
"Bu-but... It's my birthday..." The princess said sadly, as she let her gaze drop to the floor.
"Oh Serenity, you know he'll make it for you!" Venus said happily, and the Princess nodded.
"You're right. Now, I wonder where Chibiusa is...?"

Chibiusa sat up, and looked around. She sat in a dark cell... Only something felt familiar, something that didn't make her afraid. A ripple... Something she hadn't felt for sometime.
"Pu?" She asked, but their was no answer. She sighed, and walked to the door. "How can I get out...?" She asked, leaning on the door. And then it opened...
She fell out, and fell to her knee's. "Itai!" She cried, rubbing her sore knee. Then she noticed where she was...
"I'm free!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down, ignoring the pain. She smiled, "Finally!" Then, she sighed.
"Now how do I get out?!"
"Serenity!" Endymion called, shouting up to the princess. Standing on the balcony, she stared down at the prince with disbelief in her eyes.
"Even though Venus said you'd be here, I didn't believe her completely... Oh Endymion..."
"I'm sorry, but I don't know if I'll be able to stay."
"Wh-what?" The princess asked in fear of the answer.
"Beryl attacked the Earth, and has set her eyes on the Moon. I have come here to protect the Moon, by your mothers request."
"I'm glad, though I do wish you could come to the dance..." The prince nodded, as a group of guards spotted him.
"I will try, Serenity!" He promised, then ran from the confrontation. The princess sighed, as she watched him leave.
"They must suspect everyone from the Earth..."
Chibiusa walked, and walked... She sighed, "When will I get out of here?" She looked about, trying to get her bearings. "I don't like the dark... Why do I have to be here?!" She was about to start to cry, when she came from the halls into a large chamber. Even though it was still dark, it was brighter than the dim halls had been.
"This has to be near the exit..." She mused, as she wandered around the room. It was large, as she had noticed before, but the most startling feature was the looming black throne at one end of the hall.
"This must be Beryl's throne room... But where is she?" She looked around, and she stumbled as the realization hit her.
"Momma! Beryl must be attacking the Moon! I have to-!" She stopped, her eyes falling on an entrancing sight. A set of four gems hovered around a crystal globe before the throne. She reached out, taking the first of them.
"I wonder...?" She sighed. "I shouldn't..." She took the four, slipping them away. "Beryl could use these against Momma... I can't let her!" Another realization then hit her, as she realized she could have gotten out of their all the time.
"The Time Key!" She exclaimed, as she drew it out from around her neck. "Pu said it could take me from place to place too... I wonder..." She held it into the air.

"He he he he he..." Beryl laughed, looming over the battle ground. "The Moon will be mine... Just as the Earth is mine!"
"Never!" Princess Serenity cried, tears at the edge of her eyes. Beryl narrowed her eyes at the Princess.
"Princess..." She hissed, and lunged at the now frightened girl. Suddenly, a red rose struck Beryls outstretched hand. She shrank back, glaring at her attacker.
"Prince Endymion!" She cried, taken aback. The Prince stood before protectively. "Why do you let her cling to you? You could rule beside me!"
"Never! I love Princess Serenity!"
"Love... So sweet. But love will not prevail..." She screamed, floating above them. "Metallia! Aid me!"
With that, a beam of greenish energy shot down from Metallia's looming form. A beam that struck the Prince, and lifted him into the air.
"ENDYMION!" Princess Serenity screamed, running after him.
"No, Serenity! Stay back!" He cried. But she didn't. She leapt after him... And with another flash, both lie still as they floated up slowly...
"NO!" Queen Serenity screamed, as she watched her daughter drift away from her. "Serenity..." Without another word, she summoned the Moon Stick. "I will save you..." She held up the wand, the Silver Crystal glittering between the points of the cresent.
"No! Queen Serenity! If you use the Silver Crystal..." Luna began, but was cut off.
"I will protect my daughter... My Kingdom... MOON CRYSTAL POWER!" Queen Serenity called out, as the glow from the object started to expand, engulfing Queen Beryl, the warriors of the Dark Kingdom, the Princess, the people of the Moon, and all... And then she collapsed...

Chibiusa's eyes widened. "No, no, no..." She repeated, over and over, as she watched her grandmother fall to the ground. She held in a sob, clutching the Time Key in her hand. "I really was too late..."
