Bishojo Senshi Sailor Eclipse
Episode Two-"The Soldier of water and mist, Sailorhermes-Korino Kagami"/"Mizu to moya no Senshi, Sailorhermes-Korino Kagami"

A woman with black hair stood regally, her hair fluttering around her like silk. "You failed me..." She murmured softly. "You still haven't found me the Illusion Silver Crystal..."
"Please forgive me, my Queen." The man, with short white hair and piercing grey eyes, pleaded, as he knelt before her.
"You know as well as I that to rule this world, we need the Illusion Silver Crystal... It is the key to uniting the shattered Mirror of Darkness." "I am quite aware, My Queen..." he says. "I, Commander Pyrite, will not fail you, Queen Chrysoberyl..."

"I'm home!" Miyage chirped, as she danced into her house. She slipped out of her shoes, and picked up Luna.
"Hi honey!" Her mom smiled. "Have a good day? Miyage nodded,
"I got an A on my English test! I feel SO good!"
"I'll make your favorite for dinner, dear."
"Thanks mom!" With that, she ran up to her room. She sat Luna down on the bed.
"Luna... Are you going to stay in my house and keep watch on me all the time?" Miyage asked, an eyebrow raised in question. The little cat sighed,
"Miyage-chan!" says Luna. "You're now a soldier for justice! I'm sure the enemies will appear again, Miyage-chan. There are still many things I must teach you."
"They'll show up again...?" She murmured, as she sat down on the bed. One hand went to the locket, secured to her front bow. "Luna, I..." She took a deep breath. "Just who are these enemies, Luna?"
"They're inhuman beings, who are trying to dominate this world."
"Inhuman...?"
"Yes. They're pure evil... Miyage-chan, you must be strong!" She sat before Miyage. "They shouldn't exist here, Miyage-chan. We must hurry, to find your allys... And then, we must find and protect the princess."
"Allys... The Princess..." Miyage murmured. She sighed wistfully. "I wish I could be a princess..."
"Miyage-chan..." Luna said, and Miyage turned to face her.
"Yes, Luna?" She asked, her mind still reveling in her dream.
"I've spotted the second soldier already..."

A girl with blue hair, and blue eyes, walked down the school hall. She held her books to her chest, and her clear gaze was kept ahead of her.
"Have you seen the results of the test?" A girl asked, huddled close to her friend.
"I did, I did! There's a genius in class five!" Her friend exclaimed, the first girl nodded.
"Korino Kagami!" The first girl said, and her friend sighed.
"Full marks in every subject..." She pouted, "I wish I was that good! She's the best in the country!"
"They say she has a 300 IQ!" Her friend said, and the first girls eyes widened.
"She's not human!" She said, and Miyage, who had been standing nearby, lifted her hand to her mouth.
"A genius?" She asked, and then felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Hi Miyage-chan!" Uta announced, causing Miyage to jump in surprise. She landed, breathing heavilly.
"Don't do that!" Uta grinned,
"You're so funny, Miyage-chan!"
"I know, I know..." Miyage giggled. "But, seriously. Is Korino Kagami-san really a genius?"
"Yeah, she's the top marked student in the country... Her mother's a doctor, and she lives in an expensive condo."
"Joho-kun, how do you find this all out?" Uta asked, eyebrow raised in question. He shrugged,
"Just a hobby of mine..." Miyage kept her gaze on Kagami's departing figure.
"I wonder..." She murmured, as she walked past her friends, after her. "I wonder what she's really like..."

After school, Miyage stood out by the wall. Her latest math test was in hand. "A D..." She murmured. "What is going on inside my head..." She sighed. "With this horrible score, mom's sure going to get mad... Not easy like she was before..." She lets her hand drop to her side, and sees Kagami walking down the path.
"Korino Kagami-san... The genius from class 5..." She murmured, and nearly jumped in shock when she saw Luna jump down onto the girls shoulder.
"Oh, you startled me!" Kagami exclaimed, as she picked up the cat. "If I didn't live in a condo, I could have a cat like you..." Kagami sighed. "You have the softest fur, kitty..."
Miyage keeps her gaze on the girl, "Why does she seem different that anyone else... Why...?"
Luna turned her gaze to Miyage's, and when she saw her, she jumped down from Kagami's shoulder. Miyage grinned, as she took a step towards Kagami.
"Sorry... I hope she didn't hurt you." Kagami shook her head.
"Oh, nothing like that... She's so sweet. I wish I could have a cat like her." Miyage smiled.
"You're Korino Kagami-san, from class 5, right? I'm Tsukino Miyage, from class 1. My cat's name is Luna."
"She was your cat?" Kagami asked, and Miyage nodded. "You're so lucky, Tsukino-san. I can't have cats..."
"That's too bad..." Miyage sighed then suddenly grinned. "Korino-san, want to go to the arcade with me?" Kagami began to shake her head, and Miyage frowned. "Please, I'd like to get to know you more... You seem so nice." Kagami seemed taken aback.
"Really?" She asked, and Miyage nodded her head.
"Yes, really! So, do you want to?" Kagami nodded. "Great! Follow me!"

"This is the Sailor A game..." Miyage said, pointing to the new game. "I really love it... Even though I just started to play it." She sat down, and put in her change. "Okay, here goes..."
As she played, Kagami stood to the side, staring. When Miyage finished, she smiled.
"It does look fun..."
"Oh, do you want to play, Korino-san?" Miyage asked, and Kagami nodded. Miyage got up, "Have fun!" She said, as she slid in the change. Kagami sat down, and began to play. As she continued playing, people gathered behind her. They seemed enthralled...
"What's this?" Miyage asked, looking around at all the people. "They must really think she's doing good..." She looked down at the score, and eeped. "Wow!" She exclaimed. "She **IS** doing good!"
When she finished, she typed in her name. She'd gained the high score. "You're great, Korino-san!" Miyage cried, and the girl blushed.
"It's not much..." Suddenly, the game made a 'chime' as a pen rolled out of a slot. Magami caught it. "A pen?"
"Ooh!" Miyage exclaimed. "I've never got one of those!" She set her face in a look of grim determination. "No way can this game stop me..." With a look of frustaration, she started wacking the game on the side.
"Miyage-chan!" Mitsuru cried. "You're going to break it!" But right before she did...
"I got one!" She said happily, as she caught the pen that rolled out.
"Tsukino-san... You're so funny."
"Thanks, Korino-san... Hey, want to be friends?" She asked, and Kagami blushed. "Don't be shy, Korino-san." Kagami grinned, slightly, as she slipped the pen into her pocket.
"Tsukino-san," She said, with a playful smile. "This sure was interesting..." She stood. She looked down at the game, "I'd love to be friends. I have so few... Maybe I should come here more often..."
"Great, then I can see you more often!" Miyage smiled.
"Tsukino-san..." Kagami murmured.
"Call me Miyage-chan... Can I call you Kagami-chan?" Kagami nodded. "Great!"
"Oh no!" Kagami cried. "I have to go now, Miyage-chan." She said with a frown.
"Wh-why, Kagami-chan?"
"I have to get to cram school..."
"Cram school?" Miyage asked, and Kagami nodded.
"Yeah, the Crystal Seminar. Maybe you should try it?" Miyage shook her head,
"Maybe I should... It could help me with my math." Kagami nodded,
"It'll help... I go every day." Miyage's eyes widened.
"Every day?" Miyage asked, her voice shocked. Kagami nodded.
"I want to be a doctor, like my mom..." She said, with a wistful smile. "So I have to study hard."
"Wow, a doctor..." Miyage murmured. "What a dream..."

Kagami walked into the room, her gaze on the clock as she did. "Good, I'm not late..." She sighed in relief. She sat down, at her desk, and put a disk into the computer. "Time for work..." She began her studies, and was interupted as she felt a presence behind her.
"Korino-san," said the instructor, who stood behind her. "I've got my hopes on you." The black haired woman smiled, "Korino-san, it's excellent people like you who will lead the world of tomorrow." Kagami nearly blushed. "Everyone wants to be like you. So, you need to keep studying, so your level will improve..."
"I know, sensei..."

Miyage stood in the locker room, getting ready while the others changed.
"Wanna go get some ice cream at the corner shop?" Uta asked, and she nodded.
"I'd love to... They have rasberry, right?" Uta nodded. "Great, I can't wait!"
Miyage turned to get her things, and saw a girl leaving the room.
"Miko-chan is going to the Crystal Seminar," Uta said, as if sensing Miyage's unasked question.
"Everyone's going there now...?" Miyage asked, her eyes on the girl. "Is the school **THAT** effective?"
"It must be." Uta said with a sigh. "All of their lectures are on disk, so they can use them on the computer. They can take them home, so they're always with them. I'm sure they're so interesting... I wish **I** knew what was on them." Uta sighed again. "I've seen the students using them like mad... Oooh, I wish I knew what was on them!"
"Disks...?" Miyage murmured quietly. "I wonder..."

Kagami stared blankly at the screen of her computer. "I can't do this! My mind feels foggy... I can't get into using this disk for studying..." She sighed as she took out a pencil and a piece of paper.
"I know I'll remember it better writing like this." She said, her tone satisfactory. She was busy studying, when Miyage ran into the class room, still in her gym clothes.
"Kagami-chan!" she called. The girl looked up at her.
"Yes, Miyage-chan?"
"You're still studying?! Class is over!
"You know I have to..." Miyage nodded.
"Well, why don't you pack up... We can go get icecream." She stopped suddenly, as two students walked past her.
"I have to go to the seminar."
"Me too!" Miyage shook her head.
"They all want to be like you... I wish I was that special." Withour a reply, Kagami stood.
"I have to go to the Crystal Seminar, too..." She left the room, not giving Miyage a chance to speak.
"Miyage-chan!" Luna cried, as she walked up to Miyage.
"Kagami-chan... She studies too much, Luna. I'm worried... She looks so tired." Then, something caught her attention. A disk, lying on the ground... She bent down, and picked it up. "A disk? Did Kagami-chan drop it? I guess I have to take it to her..."

"Welcome to the Crystal Seminar!" Kagami's black haired teacher said in her charming voice. "If you join now, addmission is free."
Miyage, as she walked by, was handed one of the flyers. She looked down at it.
"You can bring out your true abilities!" The woman said, but Miyage didn't hear. Her attention was on the flyer.
"Kagami-chan is on the flyer..." She murmured. She read over the words again.
"'Now open! With the Crystal Seminar, you'll be a genius too!'"
"Why don't you enroll," Luna asked with a grin. "and study a little more? I saw your math test..." Miyage eeped.
"No way! I... This school gives me a bad feeling..." As she crumpled the paper, she tossed it over her shoulder.
"You shouldn't litter!" Luna hissed, then clamped her mouth shut.
"Hey!" he yells. "You odango atama! I am not a garbage can!" Miyage turned around quickly. It was the man from before...
"Not you again!!" She wailed. He grinned, as he slid off his glasses.
"Was that cat just talking?" he asked, and Miyage sighed, as she laughed nervously.
"Oh! Of course not! Goodbye!" She picked Luna up, and walked away quickly. Theman watched her leave, then was handed a flyer.
"Here's one for you, too!"

Luna sighed, the flyer before her where she sat infront pf the computer. "We've looked at this thing over and over... But nothing." She looked over at Miyage, who sat at a desk. "Miyage-chan. We have the disk Kagami-chan dropped... We can use this computer. It seems suspicious." Miyage nodded, as she put the disk into the computer. Without warning, text flashed onto the screen.
"That was weird..." Luna murmured. "I didn't command it to come up... But still. This is just a normal lecture... Nothing strange at all." Miyage sighed,
"I felt something too... There has to be something." She pounded the comuter on the top. "Work, dummy!"
"Miyage-chan, you'll break it!" Luna cried, but was cut off, as a voice came from the computer.
"Devote yourself!" Luna's eyes bugged out, and Miyage gasped.
"What the-?" She murmured.
"Become a servant for our great ruler! Gather data on the Illusion Silver Crystal!" Luna shook her head in disbelief.
"I can't believe this... The enemy is using this disk to brainwash! We must stop them!"

The man Miyage had accousted sat before a computer. He slid the disk her had gotten with the Crystal Flyer into the computer. "Now let's see..." His eyes widened,
"Gather data on the Illusion Silver Crystal!" A voice commanded from the screen. "Gather it!"

Miyage sat back in her chair, "Luna, what are we going to do now?" She asked the cat.
"I'm not sure..." Miyage looked out the window, her gaze fell upon a group of students. Students she knew went to Crystal Seminar...
"Luna! That group is going to the Crystal Seminar!" Her eyes widened. "Oh no! Kagami-chan!" She gasped, "She's so pale! Is Kagami-chan being brainwashed too? Luna, we have to save her... I have to save her!"
"Of course you do! Now, Miyage-chan, use the pen!"
"What?" Miyage asked in confusion.
"That pen you got at the game center! Take it and throw it high into the air! Shout Moon Power, and transform!"
"What?!" says Miyage. "I can do that kind of thing with this pen!?" She looked down at the pen. "I'd never have known..." She threw the pen up into the air. "Moon Power!! Transform me into a doctor!" Light flashed around her, and she appeared in a short cut doctor's suit. She grinned, "It's timne for a house call..."

"I received a phone call about an emergency!" Miyage shouted to the Crystal Seminar receptionist, as she ran past her. **I have to find Kagami-chan!" She comes to where the students are entering the class room. Kagami is among them.
"Kagami-chan!?" She shouted, and the girl turned to face her. But before she could even speak, her legs gave out, and she fell to the ground unconscious.
"No, Kagami-chan! You're being brainwashed! Get a hold of yourself!" She shook the girl. "It's just an illusion!"

"Heh heh..." The instructor chuckled. "These Crystal disks will soak up all the energy that I need... And, if I can use this genius girl's mind, soon Tokyo... no, all of Japan will be under control. Soon I will find the Illusion Silver Crystal!"

Miyage sighed, "I have to stop whatever is causing this all..." She set Kagami down. "I'll be back, Kagami-chan..." She stood, and ran in through the open door. "Everyone, get away from those computers! You're energy is being drained!"
"Who are you?!" The instructor demanded. Miyage grinned,
"Moon Prism Power, Make Up!" In another flash of light, she was left in her Sailor fuku.
"I won't allow you to take away the pure love of learning by brainwashing these students! I am the soldier of love and justice, Sailormoon! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!" She posed, and the instructor grinned. Her features twisted, her black hair flew around her...
And a storm of papers shot towards Sailormoon.
"Oww!" She cried, clutching her arm. The paper... It had CUT her! "The papers are as sharp as razors!" She shouted, as she dodged the blast. She came to rest behind a computer, "What am I going to do..." She takes a deep breath. "I have to save Kagami-chan..." She stood up, "Kagami-chan!!" She cried. And gasped. The black haired monster, having heard her cries for Kagami, had picked the weak girl up. She held her, taunting Miyage, her had around her throat.
"No! Kagami-chan!" Sailormoon cried. The instructor ignored her...
"Why aren't you brainwashed!!" She demanded. "You were goofing off and not studying those disks!"
"Ouch..." Kagami moaned. "I wasn't goofing off. Study is something you do by your own ability. Not by..."
"Kagami-chan!" Luna shouted. "The pen! Raise the pen high into the air! And shout Hermes Power, Make Up!" Kagami nodded weakly,
"Die!" The instructor cried, as she extended her claws to strike Kagami.
Kagami grabbed the pen in her pocket. Upon contact, it began to glow... "Hermes Power, Make Up!" She cried, and as she did, a mist blew out from her, knocking the monster away.
"What's happening?" The monster shouted. "Uhh... My body's getting cold."
"Fog!?" Miyage asked. "How strange... Luna! Where are you!?" She cried. "Kagami-chan!? I can't see anything! Luna!?" She pleaded. The monster, trying to shake off the chill, saw Sailormoon. And grinned.
"There she is... Heh heh... She'll pay now..." She lunged at Sailormoon, and just as she was going to strike her, two arms held Miyage up from behind.
"Now! Strike her!"
"What!?" She asked in confusion. Then, she shook her head, and did just what the voice asked her too. She thrusted her leg up. "Sailormoon Kick!!" The monster was knocked off her feet, and Sailormoon fell back into Midnightkamen's arms.
"Sailormoon... The enemy was right in front of you... You need to be careful."
"Midnightkamen..." She whispered, as their faces came closer and closer together. "You saved me again..." he smiled. **Oh,** Miyage sighed. **what a beautiful smile...**
He lowered her to the ground. "Hurry and save your friends, Sailormoon." She nodded, and turned to face the monster, who had recovered.
"Now you'll really pay, Sailor-"
"Oh, I don't think so..." Sailormoon grinned. "Moon Tiara Action!" She removed her tiara, and once again it formed into the glowing discus. She threw it at the monster, who disentigrated when it was struck.
Miyage turned around, **I hope he's still here...** But Midnightkamen was gone. She sighed, as she looked up at the moonlit night.
"Why did he leave so quickly. I want to know him more..." She sighed, sadly. Luna came up to her.
"Miyage-chan," She said, and Miyage looked down at her.
"Luna!" Then, she remembered why she had came... "Kagami-chan! Is she all righy?" She looked around the room, and was glad to see the fog was clearing. And then she saw Kagami....
...Kneeling on the ground, wearing a blue sailor fuku.
"Kagami-chan!? Those clothes..." She shook her head in surprise. "This can't be..." Luna smiled, as she looked at Kagami transformed.
"As I thought! I'm glad I gave you the pen." She took a step towards Kagami. "With your mind, you're our brain! You can manipulate water at will, and spread fogs, taking the protection of the planet Mercury. Kagami-chan, you are Sailorhermes!" Luna stopped for a moment, letting it all sink in to Kagami's head. "We've been searching for you, Kagami-chan."
"Sailorhermes!?" Kagami asked, surprised. "Me!? A soldier...!" She shook her head. "This can't be..."
"So you're our ally?" Miyage cheered. "I'm so happy!" Kagami smiled.
"Mi-Miyage-chan?" She asked. Miyage nodded.
"It's me... I'm so happy, Kagami-chan!"
"Me too, Miyage-chan. Me too..."
