Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon Celestial
Part One
Episode One-"The Sacrifice, The Darkening of the Moon-Test of the Senshi"

Usagi yawned, as she lay back in bed. Moonlight flooded her room, and gave her a feeling of security. It had been a week since the battle with Carnelian and Agate had ended, a week since Chibiusa had returned to the Future. "I guess I'll miss the little munchkin..." She closed her eyes, and sleep came. But with it, the feeling of security was shattered...

The earth drifted peacefully in a sea of darkness, stars shimmering around the blue and green globe like fireflies in the purple grey twilight. "What a beautiful world..." an equally beautiful young woman spoke, her voice faint, musical. She stood at the balcony, her soft ruby hair blew like water in an unseen wind, framing her delicate features, her emerald green eyes, and her ivory pale skin. Her lips were parted in a soft sigh, as she reveled in the light of the planet that she bathed in. She sighed again as a wistful smile played upon her lips. She turned away from the broad window, her hair shifting and rustling around her slender form. The deep blue gown she wore clung to her form, and she lowered the staff, crowned with a jet black cresent moon and star, she held. "One day it will be mine.." She whispered softly, as she closed her eyes. Her smile melted away, as she heard the door open.
"Princess Chalcedony-sama?" The girls, Chalcedony, eyes open, as her once smiling gaze was replaced wih a disinterested look. Her speaker stopped at a respectful distance, and bowed. Her hair fell around her, a black silken wave, and her eyes were seen when she stood again. They were grey, and souless. The gown she wore was deep black, and clung to her before blossoming out like some rare, deadly flower.
"What is it, Corundum?" Chalcedony asked, her voice no longer it's melodious tone. It was now empty, monotonous. Corundum payed her seeming lack of interest no heed.
"As you know, hime-sama, we have long searched for the gateway to this world." Chalcedony nodded slightly, which prompted her advisor to go on. "And we did, after so long, find the gateway..." The princess nodded yet again, as she leaned against her staff, letting it prop her up. Corundums eyes lit with enthusiasm. "All we must do is initiate the Revival!"

Misty, like a dream, Usagi hung in darkness. Soft voices murmered around her, pleading, begging... She looked up, and saw a pinpoint of light. She reached her hand towards it, and felt a soft voice in her head.
A new darkness approaches, Princess...
"Princess?" She asked, her voice hollow in the void.
You will be tested, you must be strong...
"Who are you?! What is this?!" There was no answer at all. The darkness was consumed by light...

Chalcedony sat upon her throne, gazing out across her great hall. Her green eyes, that had only recently shimmered with inner light, were dull and lifeless. Corundum stood to her left, gazing out at the same hall that Chalcedony stared at with such lack of interest. Corundun turned and looked down at her princess. "I will send one of your Generals to find the Sacrifice, hime-sama." Chalcedony nodded, the movement her first. Corundum worried for her princess. The stress of coming to this dimension and not being able to find the Sacrifice must be getting to her. She was never like this while we were in the Dark Kingdom. She is so different here...
"Bring in the chosen one, then, Corundum." Corundum smiled briefly as Chalcedony spoke. When we have the Sacrifice, the Princess will be her old self again...
"With pleasure, hime-sama. Calcite, appear!" In answer to her call, white mist bubbled in the center of the great hall. A man appeared, handsome in an ice-like way. He had short white hair, and ice-blue eyes, and the grey uniform he wore was trimmed in pale blue. He bowed regally.
"Yes, Lady Corundum-sama?" He answered in reply to his summons. "You have a mission, Calcite. One of utmost urgency..."
"And what is this mission, Lady Corundum-sama?" Corundum grimaced, anger warping her icy pale, beautiful features.
"Never speak over me, Calcite!" He nodded, and noted how the look of anger faded from her faced, replaced with a look of unbound enthusiasm.
"Forgive me, Lady Corundum-sama?"
"That's better. Now, here is your mission. You must go to Earth, and find the Sacrifice so that we can enact the Revival!" He nodded, as he stood.
"Expect my return, with the Sacrifice, Lady Corundum-sama, Princess Chalcedony-sama..." And, with another bow, he faded out in bubbling white mist.
"He'll do greatly for our effort, hime-sama..." Chalcedony nodded once again. She wasn't in a mood to speak.

... And in the light, Usagi watched her friends across the room. Slowly, like in a dream, they talked and laughed. Usagi smiled. She wanted them to be happy... Suddenly, icey fear gripped her in its cold grasp. Her friends.... Something's wrong, they're in trouble! She tried to cry out her warning, but no sound came. Futilly, she tried to run to them. That too, was a hopeless endeavor. Tears streaming down her face, she watched as her friends fell, one by one, looks of agony on their faces. As the lifeless bodies hit the ground, she finally screamed...

Calcite stood in a darkened room. He formed a ball, a glittering crystal of ice, and held it out. It floated, as he spoke.
"Hmmm... What a boring world. It's far too warm..." Calcite passed his hand over the frosted glass of the crystal that floated before him in the darkness. "I will see to it's chilling... As I search for the Sacrifice for Princess Chalcedony." He held the crystal up. "Now, Spirit of Ice, show me who she is...The one with a spirit pure as freshly fallen snow." He grinned at his pun, as images swirled in the depths of the frosty crystal. Blurry at first, it became clearer, and clearer, until finally, a complete picture appeared. A girl, with long, slightly wavy, black hair. "This will be easier than making Corundum's mood change." He grinned maliciously, as the crystal was frosted over completely. The last thing seen was the girls startling clear, deep blue eyes.

"NO!(Place much, much, MUCH more emphasis on this word than is possible with just capitalizing it.)" Usagi sat up in bed, screaming, sweat beaded her brow. Her hair stuck to her damp face in places. Whimpering slightly, she stared ahead, unflinching. "No..." Luna, who had been asleep at the foot of the bed, stared at her speechlessly, as Kenji and Ikuko rushed into their daughters room.
"Usagi-chan, are you alright?" Kenji asked his daughter, standing over her next to her bed. Ikuko stood beside him, wringing her hands worriedly. Tears formed in her eyes, when Usagi didn't answer. Kenji shook her slightly. "Usagi-chan! Wake up!" Still, no response. All she did was stare ahead, an empty look in her wide blue eyes.

"She's been blank all weekend." Luna sat with the Senshi in the meeting room they used at Hikawa Jinja. "Her parents hoped she'd wake up, get better but... They took her to the hospital. Thats were Mamoru-san is right now."
"This is too serious, Luna." Minako said, her voice even more serious. Her faced was streaked with dried tears. She'd been crying ever since she'd heard when she called Usagi's house earlier that day... Rei nodded at her words.
"We should go to... What else can we do?" Ami had a tone of worry in her voice, her eyes wide with fear for Usagi. She clutched her hands together, trying to get her mind off of Usagi's condition, "We...We have to do SOMETHING." Haruka grimaced at Ami's words.
"But WHAT can we do? If this is an attack by an enemy to weaken us...." Haruka shook her head angrilly, but said nothing else. Michiru glanced at her. *She sounds so bitter.....* Reaching out, she squeezed Haruka's hand. Haruka looked up briefly at her, but her eyes held only anger and bitterness.
"Haruka, we know... We know... " Michiru said softly, as she lowered her gaze. She couldn't look into those bitter eyes anymore. Silence consumed the room, like darkness covering the globe at night. And then, the silence was broken, shattered by a soft, sweet voice.
"But no matter what," Hotaru's said, her feathery tones sounded too harsh in the quiet room. "We have to have faith. Usagi-chan WILL be allright."
"Hotaru-chan's right." Makoto said, as she nodded in agreement with the younger girl. She had to speak. She couldn't stand the silence. "We can't loose faith."
"True," Artemis said faintly, from his place next to Luna. "It's all we have now...."

Mamoru sat next to Usagi's bed, one of her pale, limp hands held in his own. He'd been their ever since her parents had left, since he had been allowed in. Hours.... He had lost track of how long it had been. He shook his head, bitter frustration in his eyes. The doctors couldn't tell what was wrong with her. She was awake only... No one was 'home'. "Oh Usako....." He whispered softly, hoping that she could hear him, even though he knew she couldn't. "Whats wrong...Whats wrong with you? Why won't you wake up....?" He gripped her hand tighter. "I don't want to loose you, we've been through so much together. Please, come back....I love you... Come back..."

Usagi watched her friends across the room. Slowly, like in a dream, they talked and laughed. Usagi smiled. She wanted them to be happy... Suddenly, icey fear gripped her in its cold grasp. Her friends.... Somethings wrong, they're in trouble! She tried to cry out her warning, but no sound came. Futilly, she tried to run to them. That too, was a hopeless endeavor. Tears streaming down her face, she watched as darkness coiled around each of her four friends. They screamed in pain, writhed in agony, pleading for someone to save them. For Usagi to save them.... Helpless, she watched them fall, Minako, Makoto, Rei, Ami...... Each of them gone. As their lifeless bodies hit the ground, she finally screamed.....

"Hmmm... Room 169." The girl had long, slightly wavy, black hair, and her eyes were deep and dark clear blue. She wore a student nurses uniform. She opened the door to the room, and walked in. She held a clipboard clutched to her chest with her left hand. She brought the clipboard up, and looked at the paper on it, then at the man sleeping on the chair next to the patients bed. He was holding her hand, even in sleep... The girl, a soft sad look on her face, walked over to the man. "Ahem." She tried to get his attention. He slept on. "Sir?" She whispered, somewhat softly. He didn't hear. "Hello? Sir?" She spoke louder, and he stirred. His eyes opened, and he locked his gaze on her.
"Usako? Is she all..." He asked, but the girl shook her head sadly.
"I'm sorry sir, she's still... Ill. And visiting time is over. You need to leave." He shook his head.
"No, I can't leave her..."
"Please sir, I wish..."
"NO!" Usagi sat up, screaming again. Her eyes, wide with horror, calmed down, as she was once again gazed foreward, unflinching.
"Usako!" No reply. He felt tears. "No... Usako..."
"Please sir... " He nodded. The girl watched him leave. She could hear him crying... "I wish I could help him... "

Minako, Rei, Ami, and Makoto walked over to the nurses desk. "Hello. We need to see Tsukino Usagi." The bespeckled nurse looked up at her.
"I'm sorry, visiting time is over."

The girl straightened up Usagi's room. When she was finished, she turned to leave. And ran into a man. A handsome man, in an ice-like way, he had short white hair, and ice-blue eyes, and the grey uniform he wore was trimmed in pale blue. He grinned, and the girl took a step back in fear. "What do you want?"
"Why, YOU, of course." He held up his hand, and before she could move, she felt an icelike coldness encircling her. She was loosing consciousness. With her last breath, she cried for help.

"Look, I know visiting time is over but I HAVE to see her!" Rei was getting annoyed with this nurse.
"Look misses, I can't let..." The nurse stopped in midsentence, as a scream echoed from down the hall.
"Help me! Someone!" The four took off, the nurse just standing their speechless.

Minako was the first one. She was off, and made it to the room where the scream came from. 169. She threw the door open. She gasped at what she saw. A man, in a Dark Kingdom uniform trimmed with pale blue stood their, a girl before him, an icey sphere forming around her. "What are you doing here?!" The man sounded angry. He turned to face the four, his victim falling to the ground unconscious.
"We won't let you hurt anyone!"
"Mercury Crystal Power, Make Up!"
"Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!"
"Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up!"
"Venus Crystal Power, Make Up!" They transformed, and the man shook his head, grinning.
"Hmmm... Sailor Senshi. I'm SO afraid." He sounded sarcastic, like he meant to be.
"You'll be more than just afraid after we're done with you!" Sailorvenus cried.
"MARS FLAME SNIPER!" The man grinned, and raised his hand, palm down.
"Ice Wall." A wall of ice formed, abosrbing the fire arrow. The wall then faded away.
"Kuso."
"I know, no fair. Now, it's my turn... " He raised his hand up, palm facing out, and a storm of icey shards blasted out. The Senshi scattered, and the ice shards struck and pierced the door.
"Usagi-chan's parents aren't going to like the bill for THAT..." Sailorvenus said, while she shook her head.
"Pay attention, Venus! JUPITER OAK..." Jupiter cursed, as a blast of icey shards struck her. Screaming in pain, she was knocked back, and fell to the ground, still.
"Jupiter!"

Usagi watched her friends across the room. Slowly, like in a dream, they talked and laughed. Usagi smiled. She wanted them to be happy... Suddenly, icey fear gripped her in its cold grasp. Her friends... Somethings wrong, they're in trouble! She tried to cry out her warning, but no sound came. Futilly, she tried to run to them. That too, was a hopeless endeavor. Tears streaming down her face, she watched as Makoto screamed in pain, blood spewing from her mouth. She fell, hitting the ground, lifeless...

"MERCURY AQUA RHAPSODY!" The streams of water flew at the man, but he stood their, unmoving. The water hit him... And did nothing.
"You think WATER will hurt ME? Ha!" Mercury grimaced. Mars stood next to her, while Venus tended Jupiters wounds. This can't be... Venus closed her eyes. She's... She souldn't finish her thought. It hurt too much.
"If you're immune to water then..." Mercury said softly. Mars nodded.
"MARS FLAME SNIPER!"
"ICE WALL!" Once again, he formed a wall of ice, which absorbed the arrow.
"VENUS LOVE..." Venus leapt up, forming her attack. The man grinned, once again.
"Shi-ne (Die. Pronounced She-nay!)!" He threw a storm of ice shards at Venus. Her eyes wide with terror, since she couldn't dodge... She closed them. And felt her self pushed away, and another cry of pain.
"No..." She opened her eyes. Sailormars lay above her, her body still, as her eyes closed for the last time.

Tears streaming down her face, she watched as Rei screamed, blood gurgling from her mouth. She fell back, clutching her chest in agony, and fell, to the ground, her body still and lifeless.

Venus felt hot tears on her cheeks. "No... Rei-chan!"
"Hee hee hee... Two down, two to go. Then, I can be on with my business."
"Who are you?" Mercury asked, as she helped Venus up. Venus knelt, crying over Rei's still body.
"Why are you doing this?" Venus pleaded.
"Killing you all? You're in my way, that's all..." He raised his hand, ready for the attack.
"Venus, watch out!" She looked up, a second too late. In her grief, she hadn't been paying attention. She felt the icey shards pierce her skin. She closed her eyes, and slumped down over Rei's body. Mercury screamed.

Tears streaming down her face, she watched Minako's eyes close, as she clutched her hands to her chest, blood gurgling out of her mouth. She slumped back, her lifeless body hitting the ground with a dull thud.

"NO! Stop it!" Mercury fell to her knees, arms on the ground. She looked up at the grinning man. He knew she wouldn't fight, her friends all dead around her. "Please, stop... I'll do anything, just stop all this killing..." He grinned, lecherously. Mercury cursed her words.
"I think I'll take you up on that, dear." She gulped, flinching back as he touched her forehead. "Come come come, don't move..." She felt a burning, yet icey pain, and it all grew black.

Tears streaming down her face, she watched Ami crying, fall back, screaming. And she was gone...

"NO!" Usagi sat up, screaming. She shocked the man, who knelt next to the two unconscious forms.
"Hmmm, another victim..."
"You...You're the one who..."
"Yes, I am. Now, you get to..."
"NEVER!" She cried, hand on her locket. "Moon Eternal, Make Up!" In a flash of light, ribbons, and feathers, she became Eternalsailormoon. He blinked in confusion. This is certainly strange... Usagi had finished transforming, and leapt at him, aiming to kick his stomach. "YOU WILL PAY!" Stunned, he was struck by her kick, and flew back, hitting the wall.
"Wow," He grinned, as he rubbed the back of his head, and sat up. "You pack quite a punch."
"You bet... SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER KISS!" He dodged the pink light.
"Please, can't you do any better..." She couldn't, if he could dodge her strongest attack. Crying, she fell to her knees.
"This isn't fair..." Her tears fell, and hit her brooch, causing it to glow. In a glimmer of light, the ginzuisho appeared. She cupped her hands around it, and stood. "You'll pay..."
"This I can't WAIT for." He was grinning again.
"Onegai, ginzuishou...Help me... And Makoto-chan, and Rei-chan, and Minako-chan, and Ami-chan... Help me, for all of them... " The crystal gave off a pulse of light. The mans eyes widened. This isn't good...
The room was flooded with light, even as he vanished, in bubbling white mist...

"Usagi-chan! Wake up!" **Is that Rei-chan...?**
"Minna..." She opened her eyes weakly, and looked around. It WAS Rei, and everyone else!
"Usagi-chan!" Ami-chan said, her voice cracking with tears of joy.
"Usagi!" Rei cried, hugging her.
"Usagi-chan!" Makoto said, her voice soft, with tears.
"Usagi-chan!" Minako cried, tears streaking her cheeks. **They're alright...**
"You're alright...I'm so happy..." Usagi said, softly, weak from using the Silver Crystal.
"So are we, Usagi-chan." Ami said, a gentle smile on her face.
"So are we..." Minako said, happilly.
"And Shido-chan is happy too..." Makoto said, then stopped for a moment. Then, she went on. "Well, she was, before she left."
"Shido?" Usagi asked. She had no idea who 'Shido' was.
"The girl we tried to save..." Rei said. "YOU saved her." She sounded proud.
"Great... I'm so happy..." Usagi said, as she closed her eyes and slept...
