Episode Eight-"A Romantic Interlude, Shido's First Date"

The weekend whad finally came to an end, and Shido and Hikage finally started school at Sei Gogyu Gauken. They were in the Iki Complex, the northernmost of the academys complexes. There were six others-Tsuchi, Hi, Kinzoku, Mizu, Ki, and Shi. Hotaru had told Shido, before school started, that she was in the Shi complex. After that, they had to go to class.
Shido still felt overwhelmed, Sei Gogyu Gauken was a LARGE school. Still, she promised herself, I'm going to make it at this school! And boy, was she glad she had!
A male figure entered the room, and every female heart skipped a beat. It was Yamino Kishi. He absolutely had to be the most amazing guy in the whole school of Sei Gogyu Gauken. Sure, he wasn't the most handsome, but he definately was very, very attractive. He wasn't the most popular, but he had lots of friends, and even a whole female fanclub. He wasn't the nicest guy, but he was probably second in line for that title. However, being the second and third at every category made him near perfect. Afterall, the nicest guy in Sei Gogyu Gauken wasn't the most popular, the most popular definately wasn't the nicest, the most handsome wasn't the most popular. Kishi won above all of the 'most's' because he was alot of everything, not just alot of one thing and a little of the other. However, most females noticed Kishi's good looks first over everything else. His eyes were a deep dark purple, his hair was an even darker black, and a bit long, somewhere between his ears and his shoulders. It was rather messy and untameable with the tendency to fall in his face alot, he was always blowing strands out of his eyes. All the girls at Sei Gogyu Gauken agreed that Kishi looked the best in his uniform over all the other guys in the school. The black of the pants matched his hair, and the white of the shirt sharply contrasted with his eyes making an interesting effect. The black blazer he wore when it got cold, also matched his hair and eyes. Yamino Kishi was the perfect guy in almost every girl at Sei Gogyu Gauken's mind.
"Ikitoshino-san! Look! He's soooo kawaii!!!" a girl said, whispering to Shido. She eyed him intently. **He certainly is... And so familiar...** But the thing is, she had NEVER seen him before!
"Who is he, Mizuhara-san?" Shido asked, extremely interested in the black haired boy. **He is so handsome...**
"How can you NOT know?!" Mizuhara Miki, the girl beside her, whispered loudly. The sensei's eyes gazed up and looked at Miki oddly. Miki ducked her head down and pretended to read as the sensei redirected her attention to Kishi. Seconds later, Miki sat straight again, "He's Yamino Kishi, from Class B in the Shi complex... isn't he just gorgeous?" she asked Shido. Shido tilted her head to the side, her eyes watching Kishi give a piece of paper to sensei, flash a dazzling smile, bow, then walk out of the room. All the females seemed to sigh blissfully, and oddly, a few of the guys as well. Shido raised her eyebrows, she wondered why she never knew who this guy was before... And she then knew exactly why. ** I've only been at this school for a little bit...** She sighed. **I have to get to know him!!**

Tetsuya-sensei let out a sigh. The entire classroom was ruined, all thanks to a broken water pipe. "Class, we'll be splitting up where you're going today, since I can't teach in this mess. I already have you divided out, to where you'll be going..."
Usagi crossed her fingers, **Please, please, please!**
However, despite all of her pleading, she was left alone. She wasn't close friends with the other three students she'd been grouped with, who were going to Matsuki-sensei's class. She sighed.
**This is going to be a horrible day!**

Shido was walking out of the school into the courtyard later that day, looking for the object of her desires-Yamino Kishi. And she found him, standing by a tree. It seemed weird, almost like he was waiting for someone. His eyes gazed into the sky, and she knew this was the perfect chance. She headed towards him, but stopped abruptly. A dark haired girl appeared almost out of nowhere. Her skin was pale, her black hair reaching to her chin. Even from this distance, Shido could see her flashing violet eyes. Shido frowned a bit, she knew exactly who *THIS* was. **Hotaru-chan! What's SHE doing here?!** Shido watched and waited, and to her surprise, he gave her one of his dazzling smiles and also a small hug. Her eyes widened as they walked off together, talking animatedly. Unbelievable... this can't be happening!
"Shido!" a voice called out, which interrupted Shido's confused thoughts. Shido turned around to see Hikage standing behind her. "I kept calling your name... Daijobu ka?" Shido nodded, then looked back at Kishi and Hotaru.
"Hikage-chan... do you know anything about them?! Are they... Are they a couple?" Shido asked, and Hikage laughed. She shook her head as she answered.
"No, they're best friends... As far as I know." She said, a knowing look in her eyes. "Don't worry, you can win him yet, Shido." Hikage grinned, and Shido raised her eyebrows and smiled slyly,
"How did you know that was my plan?" she asked. Hikage shook her head, her pale blond hair whipping around her face, down from her normal braid.
"I've known you for two life times, Shido. There are some things I know about you... Some things that will never change." Hikage said, with a sly grin. Shido smiled again. "So, are you going to go ask him?" Hikage asked. Shido nodded,
"Wish me luck!"
"Of course! Gambatte, Shido!(Goodluck, Shido!) I'll see you at home, and I won't even wait up for you!" She grinned, then waved, and walked off.
**I'm glad they're just friends, now I can go make my move!**

Yoruno Heitai nearly passed out when he saw HER. The girl he had waited so long for. "Hi," She said with a forced smile. "I'm Tsukino Usagi."
"My names Yoruno Heitai." He replied. He was a handsome boy, but quiet enough that not many knew about him. His short blond hair and blue eyes made him memorable to those who did see him, however.
"Well, I'm your partner until my classroom gets fixed..." She said with a dissatissfied sigh. Heitai tilted his head to the side.
"You don't seem to happy." He pointed out, and Usagi blushed.
"Gomen... I just wanted to be with my friends." She said truthfully, and he nodded knowingly,
"I understand." He smiled, "Still, it'll take a while for your class to get fixed, so we'll be stuck together for a long time..."
She looked up at him, "Hai? I know..."
"I think we should get to know eachother better."
"Ho-how do you suggest that, Yoruno-san?"
"First, call me Heitai. And, second of all, we can meet at the Crown Fruit Parlor this afternoon..."
"Do you go there often?" She asked, and he shook his head, then replied,
"No, I'm, always to busy. Still, I'll make an acception to get to know you."
She blushed, "Heitai-kun!"
"Don't blush, Usagi-chan... You don't mind if I call you Usagi-chan, do you?" She shook her head, and he smiled. "Thank you. So, does the Fruit Parlor sound good?"
She nodded. "Hai."
"Good, let's get to work then. And, I'll see you there at 3, ok?"

"Hi, is someone sitting here?" It was lunch, at Kishi sat alone at his table. He looked up at Shido, and flashed one of his wonderful smiles.
"No one at all."
"Well, can **I** sit here?" She asked, with a smile. He nodded, and she slipped into the chair. "Thank you."
"Your welcome... Ikitoshino Shido, ne?" She blink-blinked.
"You know my name?" He nodded.
"Hai. I keep track of all the beautiful new students at this school... And you caught my eye quickly." Shido nearly blushed,
"Well, Yamino-san, I feel honored..."
"Do you, Shido-chan?" She nodded.
"Well then, I suppose I could honor you even more..." He stood. "I have something to tell you, but I can't tell you here..." He took her hand in his own, and helped her up out of the chair. She followed after him, as they left the lunch room and went out into the school yard. They came to a small grove, surrounded by beautiful trees, and there Kishi stopped. He turned to face her, and she tried her best not to blush. **He has beautiful eyes...**
"Now, I feel more open..." She gulped,
"Yamino-san, I..."
"Shido-chan, I've waited for you to start here since the moment your application was accepted..."
"You-you what?"
"I know it may sound strange, but I've waited for you, Shido-chan."
"Yam...Yamino-san, what are you trying to say?" And then, with a smile, he swept her off her feet, into the deepest, most passionate kiss she had ever shared with another. When they parted, her eyes were glazed over, and she heard his voice softly,
"That's what I was trying to say, Shido-chan."
"Yamino-san..."
"Now..." He helped her up, holding her close to him. "How do you feel about dinner tonight, Shido-chan? I know you'd love it..."
She nodded, "All right, I'll pick you up at your house at 7..." And then, he kissed her again...

Usagi sat down at the table across from Heitai. "So, where should we start?" He asked. She shrugged.
"Well, we know eachothers names..."
"Hai." He nodded. "Why don't you tell me about your past..." She nodded, with a smile.
"I can do that."

"Tremolyte, I'm almost dissapointed at you." Chalcedony chided the handsome brown haired General.
"Please, forgive me My Princess."
"She will, but our resources are running dry." Corundum replied, icilly.
"Tremolyte, I want you to go out and gather energy for our Kingdom." He nodded,
"Oh course, My Princess." With that, he vanished in a silent swirl of green leaves.

Shido walked into the Fruit Parlor, Hikage supporting her. She was still walking on air, from her earlier meeting with Kishi. "I can't believe he asked me out..."
Hikage winced, then smiled. "Let's get you something to drink, ok, Shido?"
Shido nodded, "Hai, Hikage-chan..." She murmured happilly. Hikage saw Usagi, and headed towards her, Shido in tow. She smiled, when she noticed Heitai.
"Hello." She said with a smile, bowing her head slightly in Heitai's direction. Then, to Usagi, "Usagi-chan, can I leave Shido-chan here. She's acting..." Shido sighed happilly in contentment. Hikage pointed to her, "Well, you see?"
Usagi nodded, "Hai, I'll be happy to watch her."
"Arigato, Usagi-chan!" Hikage said with a smile, then sprinted towards the counter.
"Ano, who is this?" Heitai motioned to Shido, who was still in La La land. Usagi smiled.
"My friend, Shido-chan." After the introduction, Heitai continued talking to Usagi about himself, but he never kept his gaze off of Shido for long.

"Arachne, Pandora!" Alessandrite shouted, storming into the 'rest' room. The two looked up, Araches look one of annoyance, and Pandora's one of shock.
"What is it, Alessandrite?!" Pandora cried, trying to recover her calm.
"The Doctor wishes you to both know that Medusa-" Arachne's eyes widened, and she shot up.
"Don't say what I think you're going to say! I am not going to-!" Alessandrite's cold eyes glinted, and Arachne suddenly found herself slammed into the wall, by an unseen explosion of force.
Pandora trembled, despite all her hatred for Alessandrite... She never used her powers, unless she was angry beyond belief...
"Don't go against Doctor Hoshino's orders, Arachne," Alessandrite hissed. "Or I'll destroy you myself, like the little spider you are." She grinned, watching Arachne rise slowly, painfully, to her feet. "Do you understand?"
"I... I do..." Arachne replied, hissing in pain. Alessandrite nodded.
"Good. Now, as I was trying to say, you two shall now be following Medus'a orders in the search for the Periphats."

Hikage returned shortly, and led Shido away. "Thanks for watching her... In this state, I'm sure she could walk out in front of a car, and not even noticed." Usagi almost grinned.
"Well, see ya later, Usagi-chan!" Hikage waved, and led Shido away.
When they reached home, Hikage was amazed at how devotely Shido was getting ready for her date with Kishi.
"I still can't believe I'M going out with Yamino Kishi!!!" Shido cheered, watching her reflection in the mirror. She wore a low cut deep bronze dress, with black lace trim. "How does it look?" She asked, suddenly quite attentive.
Hikage nodded apporvingly, "Beautiful." Shido smiled.
"You're the best, Hikage-chan!"

"I'm so nervous..." Shido said slightly, as she waited for Kishi to arrive. Hikage, standing beside the couch, smiled.
"Don't worry, Shido. You look beautiful, and this night will go perfectly..." Shido turned around, smiling.
"I hope so, Hikage-chan..." She sighed wistfully. "I really hope so..."

As things are known to happen, time passed by, and Kishi arrived. He handed Shido a bouquet of roses, which caused her eyes to brighten. "I love roses... How did you know." Kishi grinned, as he replied.
"Because their beauty matches your own, my dear."
Hikage watched them both from afar, a sad look in her eyes. As Kishi led Shido away, Hikage slumped down onto the couch. "Shido... You're my best friend... Please don't rush in..." She didn't say her next thought, **Like you have been... Like you did before...**

"Tremolyte, I'm quite dissapointed." Chalcedony said calmly, her gaze eveny upon Tremolyte's.
"I know, hime-sama. I underestimated her..."
He was cut off, by Corundums threatening voice. "Hah! You were knocked out in the bathroom!" Chalcedony glared at Corundum, but said nothing. At first...
"Enough, Corundum." She said calmly. The black haired woman nodded.
"Hai, Princess. Please forgive me..."
"Now," Chalcedony turned her attention back to Tremolyte. "Tremolyte, go out as usual, but this time, be careful..."
Corundum nearly choaked in shock. **Why is she being so kind to him?! He failed!**
Tremolyte nodded, "Of course, hime-sama..." And then he faded away...
