I hadn't seen Van Gogh's Ear, the band with whom I'd moved from Oklahoma in 1991, for about a year. Deciding one night to catch up with them, I went to The Rusty Pelican in Long Beach. During the last set, the guys invited two other musicians up on stage. This is how I was introduced to Ernie Halter and Mike Babcock.
