GOVERNOR WILL NOT STOP DOLPHIN PROJECT

ANGUILLA- Chief Minister Osbourne Fleming spoke emphatically about the Dolphin Project at Meads Bay during the House of Assembly meeting on Tuesday.

His remarks followed several letters written to the Governor, the Government and the media threatening to damage Anguilla's tourism industry.

Fleming made it clear that his government is totally in favour of the project and that it will continue. "Those people that are marching around here condemning the dolphin project, we are asking you to stop your threats" he warned. He explained that the license had been given by the previous administration, but that they were a responsible government and we're not going to tell the developers to stop now.

Fleming said he was taking the opportunity to talk about the dolphin project to clear the record and to ask the protesters not to waste their time by coming to his office.
