Red Baron hits 4 to secure JT Cup Victory

Fourteen Celts set out on Saturday afternoon to bring their team a step closer to qualification for the knockout stages of the Japan Times Cup. Maruzen, the opposition, had suffered annihilation by other teams in the competition, and thus the pressure was on the Kanto Celts to dish out similar punishment.
Indeed the Celts managed to overcome their goal-shyness, and put seven goals past the Maruzen keeper, with Joe Burke increasing his tally for the season by four. At halftime the Celts led 6-1, but some poor tactical decisions coupled with a tiring defense, allowed the Japanese outfit to put four goals past a frustrated Dave Barry in the second half.
The Kanto Celts came away with the points after a 7-5 victory, but are left to wonder as to what went drastically wrong in the second half. A much-improved performance will be required if the Celts are to overcome the menace of Stoneds in the next game.
