Here is a picture of Sarah and Andrea Bocelli singing 'Time to say Goodbye' at the Royal Albert Hall. This was the song that made me a true fan, even though I'd loved Phantom for years before this. Not long after this song was released came Sarahs last album, 'Timless', which I instantly fell in love with. Her voice on this album is much more mature, and she sings a collection of lovely operatic songs.
After that I had to start tracking down her earlier albums which were far more difficult to get hold of. I came across two of them by chance, these were a couple of her pop albums from a few years ago. One of them, 'Dive', is all water-related songs and is very new age, but I've grown to really like all the whale noises and stuff like that! The only other album of hers I could find in England was 'Surrender', a collection of ALW songs, which is the finest collection of songs I own except I already knew them all before I got it!

The other two main albums of hers were sent to me from the USA by someone I know from a Sarah Brightman forum I take part in, which I'll come to in a bit. I'd like to thank Will again for sending me 3 CD's including 'Fly', which becomes disco music at times, and 'The Songs that got away', which is songs from musicals which were never successful, and this is a beautiful album.
Most recently, Sarah released the album 'Eden', which is a similar style to 'Timeless', but it has a few more modern sounding songs. Sarah's voice still sounds absolutely gorgeous, and judging by this CD there are still many things Sarah wants to do with her voice. I think she is aiming to make opera more contemporary. 'Eden' is an attempt at this, and it succeeds extremely well, I believe that it's her best album to date.

Whats great about Sarah is the range of music she's done, from pop to classical to musical to folk. I don't think it will be possible to tire of her albums.
