We live in New Zealand, one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Our town of Thames, is a former gold-mining town, and is part of the larger Coromandel Peninsula, very popular with tourists and holiday makers. Our Thames Coast winds for miles around picturesque scenery, rocky foreshores, sandy beaches, and New Zealand Christmas trees which stand tall, like sentinels protecting our coastline. The Maori name for these trees, is Pohutukawa. Toward Christmas they are aflame with magnificent red flowers. Our home is situated on a hill overlooking the sea and mountains beyond. Behind us, and to the side, are hills covered with dense native bush. It is quiet and peaceful, with just the song of the birds to keep us company. It is our little slice of heaven. I am happily married to a wonderful man who would give me the moon if he could. We have many interests. These include reading, writing short stories, articles and poetry. Other interests are classical music, ballet, opera, metaphysics, and many more. Our favourite books include Shakespeare, The Sciences of Genes and DNA, all the great poets, Donne, Nietzsche, and anything that furthers our knowledge. ~ Links to Favorite Sites ~
