The best news since U2 launching their POPmart Tour! Losing their sizzle?
This article was taken from The New Paper (a Singaporean paper). My friend handed it to me yesterday (14th Nov 97) so if I'm not mistaken, it's dated 13th Nov 97.
Oh yeah, my comments are in yellow

Just a year ago they were the hottest pop group since the Beatles. Now there are signs that the Spice Girls may be on their way out.
Sales of their second album, Spiceworld, got off to a slow start. And there's even talk of a split in the group comprising Melanie C, Geri, Victoria, Emma and Melanie B.
*It starts with the decision to sack manager Simon Fuller. A romance between Baby Spice Emma and him is thought to be behind that decision.
Talk is one or more of the girls could break away either to pursue a solo career or just a quieter life.
"Are you sick of the Spice Girls? Is it now all over?" asked the tabloid Daily Mirror this week.
One British bookmaker even stopped taking money after being swamped with bets on Emma walking out.
Another sign of fading interest: Only 200,000 copies of their latest album were sold in the first week.(YEAH!!!)
In comparison, Britain's other big band of the moment - Oasis - sold 350,000 copies of their third album in a single day last month. (I love Oasis)
Advertisers fear the Spice Girls are in danger of overkill with eight major product endorsements on top of almost daily appearances in one British newspaper or another.
Martin Thomas of advertising agency Cohn and Wolfe said: "Playground research says they are yesterday's news. We researched 10 and 11-year-olds. They still know all the songs and they did all the dances for us, but when we asked if they liked them they said no."
The girls themselves - who like to go by the names Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice, Scary Spice, Posh Spice and Baby Spice - appear to have few illusions about staying top of the pops for long.
At a news conference last month to launch the second album, Ginger Spice Geri admitted that "it is a fickle world".
The Spice Girls burst on the scene last year with Wannabe, putting "girl power" on the agenda for millions of pre-teens.-Reuters.

*According to my friend, Simon Fuller already has been sacked. I don't know how true this is though.
Is it finally ending? I think we've waited long enough!!
