The greatest speakers, trainers, motivators in the world have all had great voice, acting and speech coaches. If you've ever belonged
to Toastmasters (I highly recommend it), you understand the value of
having a good coach. Focusing attention on how you communicate,
getting feedback and then improving is probably the most important
thing you can do in network marketing... and in life!
Communication is the key to success, and actors can communicate! They
can make you laugh, they can make you cry, they can make you scared.
They know the secrets of bringing out emotion.
Emotion causes motion. And the right motion can bring you an ocean of
wealth. Right? You know that's right.
We let the actors on TV and film play with our emotions. Instead of
taking control and empowering ourselves with the emotions that
produce wealth, success, happiness and joy, we sometimes get caught
up the "reality" that has been set up for us on TV and in our daily
lives.
If someone comes to your meeting and says, "these people aren't real.
They are way too happy and excited. People aren't normally like
that." You know this person has been watching too much TV. :-) Our
happiness and joy and excitement are real. We create those emotions
in ourselves, for real. Just like the depressed person in your
offices succeeds at making everyone around him depressed, we succeed
at making everyone around us happy. Our environment shapes us. This
is one of the greatest secrets of the rich.
Here's what good actors know. They create the environment.
It's true. As a leader, it is your responsibility to create the
environment that will make your team happy and wealthy. You must
compete against the actors on TV. You must compete against the
office environment that watches the actors on TV and then brings it
all into the office.
Don't blame the actors or the TV producers.
They are doing their job to entertain you. They're giving the public
what they think the public wants.
You have to be a better actor and producer than the ones on TV.
You
have to learn to communicate better so that people will WANT to come
to your meeting and be happy and wealthy. If you don't have the
skills, recruit the skills.
