Joseph Northrup was born Abt 1603 in Derby, England. Joseph was married to Katherine Birdsey About 1622 in Derby, England. Joseph was the earliest known Northup/Northrup to come to America. It is thought that he came with his family in 1639. He had his entire family christianed at the new First Church of Milford, Connecticut in 1642.
