Joseph Northup Junior was b. in North Kingston, Washington Co. RI in 1693 (or by some accounts, 1700.
At least one source makes it look like the firstborn son was named Joseph, but he apparently died in infancy,
and they later named a second son the same.); the son of Joseph and Hopestill (Smith) Northup He married Elizabeth Cooper (b: 1698 in North Kingston, Washington Co. RI) on 16 MAR 1726 and they had at least seven children.
